Hey Darlene, the big block wonky quilt turned out great. I like the versatility of the block and the different looks that same block can make when you change the arrangement. Genius. Thanks for the tutorial.

Omg thank you! I feel sew much better now ! nothing of mine matches up and I was about to give up! As a beginning quilter I was beating myself up about perfection. So glad I found you!

Done is better than perfect. I have quilts that my Granny made that are certainly not perfect! She had 10 kids to keep warm and no time for frivolous stuff. I still cherish them all... whole cloth, thrown together, and hand-tied with cheap yarn.

You Are Not lazy or tacky. You are creative and able to think outside the box. You rock girlfriend!!!!

The lazy tacky thing has become something fun I like to call myself. I had a man leave me a comment saying I was lazy and tacky and did not teach good quilting habits. I took that and ran with it!

Love your quilt top and love your tutorial. I agree, perfection is not for everyone. Sometimes I want my quilts to be as perfect as possible, but most times I just want to get the darn thing done! Why make yourself crazy with perfection, quilting is something I do to relax and enjoy. ;-) Keep up the great work.

As always it came out just perfect. Even if you don't think it did I promise it did. Looks absolutely beautiful. And I think you are not tacky or lazy you are honest true and real most people are this way and it is so nice to see others the way I am. I love to quilt and I am only weeks away now to have saved enough for a sewing machine and I can't wait. I love seeing by hand but I love everything you do. I look forward to more things you do and more videos.

It's lovely Darlene. I'm getting addicted to your super FAST 'lazy tacky methods'. I like it when you call them the tips and shortcuts, too. You are so funny and inspiring!! And your comforter 'quilt' with the 4 buttons is Gor-geous. Peace, LuLu

How to you manage to have such clean looking blocks at this stage???? Mine look like they've been through the washer AND dryer when, if fact, they haven't. So much fraying????

I will not be turning the quilt tops into quilts becasue I don't really like making quilts, only the tops. There are tons of videos out there that will show you how to finish a quilt. I'm a non quilting quilter.
