Hello peanut gallery! In this episode of the Wonky 9 Patch Quilt Series I added sashing between the rows and connected the rows to complete the quilt top. I love it! Next time we will add the batting and the backing and start the actual quilting. When I'm done with this quilt, I will wrap up the quilt block party as promised. Here is the playlist for the wonky 9 patch in case you need to get caught up. xoxo tinyurl.com/yazolhu7
You have totally made my day with this wonky crazy quilt and I loved the crazy quilt /patched tote. I have been thinking about crazy quilt s since I am a seamstress but not a real quilter...You have demystifed the crazy quilt for me . I have a few practice embroidery pieces that I think I will use for a center or two. I love your spirit and enthusiasm. you are totally awesome
Looove the quilt top. My dog Mystery would love it, she loves blankets. I can't wait to see how the frayed edges turn out. I might use that idea on the quilt I'm making for my youngest Grandson Ian.
I'm having so much fun watching your videos ... would enjoy just hanging out with you. You're informative, creative, and funny - ps. love your aunt's stash.
This quilt is so nice! I'm thinking my Scouty who needs his dog bed covered with new top and bottom will love a wonky looking bed! lol another to do. I'm still working away at the crazy quilt for my Mom lol.
Oh man, Darlene. I LOVE that quilt top. Love the colors and also love the backing. I'm going to be using the fat eights fabric and making mini quilts for my dogs. :)
Hi! Love the homespun for the backing. I just used 100% polyester batting for some kitty beds. Since I had to cut it to size it was a huge PIA. That stuff dulled my rotary cutter blade so much I've vowed I wouldn't buy any more. It does fluff up nicely though and I used 3 layers because... kitties. Next time I'm using my Warm and White that stuff cuts way more easily but I'll still use 3 layers because I'm nuts. Oh yeah, because... kitties.... plus I'm nuts. Can't wait to see how you quilt your doggie bed. SITD would look cool because your 9 individual pieces in each square would stand out but an overall meander would be cool too.I guess we'll find out in your next posting.
I'm really liking your quilting series, especially this one! I'm anxious to see how they sell on eBay! I've been making some baby and lap quilts to sell, but haven't listed them yet. Dog blankets! What a great idea!

The quilt top looks amazing, it looks like stained glass. I have two greyhounds that would love that quilt on their dog beds.

A doggie bed is a good idea...or how about a child's nap pad? And it's portable for travel, too😊

Hello I was here. Ragging lol
here.
What kind of sewing machine do you have how old is it? I think it is a great machine.😀😀😀😀
I kind of sew like a drunk driver. It would be nice if I could sew a straight seam. Geez.
