He's up there with ed he's humble of the humblest Dan green is awesome a guy who looks like he rather train and be with his family than do TH-cam great guy Dan 👍👍👍💪💪💪💪
I like Dan Green a lot. Although I always feel like when he's giving information it seems forced as if he would rather be training than talking. Maybe he's just a little introverted. Regardless he seems like a good guy and wish him the best. Thanks for the info!!
I know what you're saying... I guess that's why he's not a talk show host :) but truth be said, I've learnt more from these videos than with some actual PTs. And having some of the best talking about how and why they do the lifts... that is just priceless. Keep it up, Animal!
+Pedro Leal I totally agree with learning more from these individuals than a PT. majority of PTs are weekend certs and little to some experience. These guys are the real deal. Having a world class athlete like Dan explain something that he's excellent at always seems to come across easier.
+Animal That is true. I suppose you know this, but in other countries/places where there isn't such a big business around weightliftng, powerlifting and the likes, it's really hard (and expensive) to get someone who knows what they're talking about... "oh, you shouldn't go so low on the squat"... I've actually heard a PT instructing the guy that the leg in the squat sould not go lower than 30º... he was basically doing half squats th whole time. So, thank you so much for your work.
Just discovered this guy. Love him, straight forward guy, talks like a man. Just shows you how to do it and doesn’t yap for 20 minutes before getting to the point. Great job Animal!
I haven't deadlifted for 5 years since high school wrestling. Wanted to see how the pros do it so I watched this vid after a leg workout and got right back into it
Thanks Dan never thought about doing sumo but after watching this I think I'm going to give it a try been doing conventional for years as with all your videos a lot of useful information 😁👍
The more the hips are far from the bar, the more the hamstrings and the ass are involved. That's why the coaches say to do that to girls for growing their butt on the squat. That's stupid. Do real deadlift and that's all. Classical deadlift is a hip and ankles dominant exercice. The calves, the hamstrings and the ass are so involved. And at the beginning, the quads too. And the back ? It stays right. No movement from it. It works only on isometric. If you will pull, do rowing or chin ups that are pulling exercices.
every time Dan green is on a beyond the basics my lifts go up..gotta love these videos

Ever since I started powerlifting, I have been inspired by your passion and explosive energy... especially in your sumo deadlifts!

Awesome video. Really good content.
Also "I don't have that kind of grip strength" - says somebody who's successfully deadlifted high 800s

Good video, powermonster!!!
Спасибо!!! Все понятно объясняешь!!!
what would be a good repetition range for deficit deadlifts, paused deadlifts, and rack pulls?
can we get more vids with Antoine vaillant ?
He's a real life Hulk. Yeah!
Hes actually jacked as fk
My blockbuster on sunday. Fuck yeah!
Just me or is his right foot slightly pointed out more than his left? I have a similar stance. Not sure if it's reason for concern on my end.
intro song ?
Carry on, my wayward son
sound?
I want one of those Animal banners that are on the wall. But Animal doesn't sell them. 😒 I want it for my home gym.
What shoes is Dan wearing?
His grip a little difficult as normally bar would slip into the fingers and calluses damaged like this
17 mins and he's knackered. i feel ur pain bruh. gonna take his advice though for sure
Dans the boss of his boss.
the weight in the first few deads looked like he could curl them for 10 plus reps.
dat bass line doe...
lockout on conv is excessive af lol
Leonard Silvia it’s a powerlifting thing, they have excessive lean to show the judges that it’s fully locked out.
Excessive lumbar lordosis.

Why black and white
I wonder if dan ever wears pants with those horse legs ha
horse got skinny legs!!
I don’t understand. He’s teaching people to drop their hips but RDLs his own deadlifts 💀💀
that's why I lift with my legs not with my back when lifting with your back you putting pressure and hurting your back.
Absolutely useless explanation. He really skip all the important bits.
He has a terrible body
yes
