In this on goin theory Eddie needed to brake that log by 22 and get 250 for nicer number? I dont get that hate. WRs are breaking kilo by kilo. Eddie will always be remembered for lifting 500kg becouse yes its nice number, but comon. Stop the Hate.
Gin Z im not hating im just saying for me hes the strongest man because he pulled 500 for the first time ever and its not common 😂 ofcourse I was Haftor best of luck but for me Eddie is the legend because he was the first to accomplish such a milestone, have a nice day
He is really kind. Look at this he is the best in the world in the deadlift, he could be rude and people would come there anyway because he is the best. That says a lot about a man.
This advice is spot on, if you have the flexibility to get into the right start position in the first place. I have to stretch for ages and even then I feel that a lot of the weight is on my toes rather than my heels. This is because I can’t get my hips low enough due to ankle/calf/hip tension. The next thing is to pull back and tension lats then pull equally with legs and back at the same time. If you go legs first then you’re putting all the effort into your lower back, a stiff-legged deadlift, and that’s not gonna work.
Thank you so much for sharing this video and your knowledge. I didn't realize how far off my form was until I filmed myself from the side. I'm basically doing the entire lift incorrectly- turning it into a stiff legged deadlift with the bar starting well off of my body. I am excited to try out these key points in my next session. Thank you again!!
Currently have a 287 kg conventional belt less max. I have always had essentially my feet touching narrow stance. Going to try a few weeks at shoulder width and widen my grip stance. My grip is noticeably a hindrance because I get “rug burn” on my thumbs from sweat pants so maybe widening both may help. I’ll respond in six weeks if I prefer the wider stance!

Why you just cant love both athletes. Eddie was first at 500kg. Thor or others eventually goin to brake it. Why so much hate. Eddie tried to brake BigZ 228 log WR by couple kilos and failed. In this on goin theory Eddie needed to brake that log by 22 and get 250 for nicer number? I dont get that hate. WRs are breaking kilo by kilo. Eddie will always be remembered for lifting 500kg becouse yes its nice number, but comon. Stop the Hate.
Gin Z im not hating im just saying for me hes the strongest man because he pulled 500 for the first time ever and its not common 😂 ofcourse I was Haftor best of luck but for me Eddie is the legend because he was the first to accomplish such a milestone, have a nice day
@@diablo5028 If he pulls 501 he is stronger. No matter who was first.
GG true but kinda silly by only 1kg if hes gonna be like that he could pull 500,5kgs and be also stronger
the only guy i’d never doubt when it comes to deadlift tips
I enjoyed tht Eddie thank you. I'll trying ur tips soon as my gym reopens 👌
He is really kind. Look at this he is the best in the world in the deadlift, he could be rude and people would come there anyway because he is the best.
That says a lot about a man.
I can see the beef is rising again between you and thor
Was his beef rising?! Must have missed it.
Thor ain’t got shit on Eddie

Except for multiple international comp victories.
Lev Marchuk wouldnt say that, Thor has achieved way more than Eddie, just stating a fact
9:49 eddie has his own gravity
Been struggling with deadlift for years and year's, I watched this video and I fixed all my mistakes lol. Cheers eddie
Thanks Ed. I’ll use this next year when the gyms re-open 👍
no worries buddy, hope your keeping safe 💪🏻
Thank you so much for sharing this video and your knowledge. I didn't realize how far off my form was until I filmed myself from the side. I'm basically doing the entire lift incorrectly- turning it into a stiff legged deadlift with the bar starting well off of my body. I am excited to try out these key points in my next session. Thank you again!!
Big strong lats help a lot 💪🏾
Baron Bodybuilds facts
Currently have a 287 kg conventional belt less max. I have always had essentially my feet touching narrow stance. Going to try a few weeks at shoulder width and widen my grip stance.
My grip is noticeably a hindrance because I get “rug burn” on my thumbs from sweat pants so maybe widening both may help.
I’ll respond in six weeks if I prefer the wider stance!
9:50 Eddie is so strong he knocked out the thing by walking past it haha
1:24 Thor on the left?😂
He takes notes
???
Eddie Williams! Best singing strongman ever!!
???????!!??!
Wow Eddie just found my back pain solution... My bar is starting from my toes. Thanks man! Aprreciate it
every single deadlift guide will tell you not to do that ..

Jokes aside. Great advice here
I went from not being able to left 350 to lifting 615 in a year because of you I love you Eddie!!!!
Imagine the pressure of dead lifting in front of Eddie lol
I love it when the best of the best talk about technique.
Breaking news:
Thor has announced a 20% increase to his current attempt!
Well done you are the 10th person with this comment.
When the best dead lifter in all of history gives you advice on your DL, you fucking take it.
Great vid, beast!
Thanks Eddie! I maxed out at 300 and I did 115 for light practice, it felt like 185 and then I watched this video and it felt like nothing!
Pounds or kgs? 😂😂

I never even dead-lifted before nor have I even been to a gym but that seems like a perfect explanation on how to dead-lift.
