10 years ago I found this channel after wanting to show my lady at the time Japanese vending machines. It’s wild to think there are now over 700 EMTs. I guess my point is gals will come and go, but Eric will always be there for you, lol.

I have never envied anyone eating a salad before, until today. Holy Doodle, that looked scrumptious and so refreshing. I like pickly things with cream cheese; I make a dill pickle and cream cheese dip for potato chips and it's so good. Everything looked so delicious. Eric, you're so fortunate to live somewhere with such incredible food. From vending machines to restaurants down scenic streets; there's nothing Japan doesn't have apparently and I'm dying to visit! I was heartbroken to see you put shoyu on the gorgeous seafood; that's almost a crime 😅 Thanks for sharing your meal with us. I'm very disheartened by my boring salad and leftover turkey from Thanksgiving (in 🇨🇦 it's earlier than the US) while I'm watching a feast. 😥 Cheers from the Niagara Region 🇨🇦
I wish I could make Eric a meal in Ohio. Not to toot my own horn but I'm a master at potato, egg, pasta, chicken and tuna salads. I always put very finely minced celery, onion & hard boiled egg in my tater salad. My tuna is legendary amongst my family & friends but is from a can, not the raw sushi kind popular in Japan. At Thanksgiving and Christmas I make an awesome turkey salad gobbler style sando as well. I've been cooking for 40 years now, at least half of that time in restaurants. This channel is so interesting to see what people eat in Japan and about Japanese culture and food. Thanks for the content Eric
The camera pan from your balcony box reminds me of similar shots done in anime. Eating while overlooking the city or, in this case, an alley. If in doubt about your personal bar-b-que skills, can you ask the serving staff to do it for you?
Love squid , pickled cream cheese for the win or perhaps not as you say! Nice high pitched beeping sound. Never heard of diced celery in mashed potatoes. Raw tuna salad for the win. Glad you liked the bacon and sausage at least! I like my oysters raw, cow tongue for the win again.
Eric, thanks for your post card I thought must have been for our recent major hurricane. We lived but have yet to enjoy victuals that don’t come from a can. Hurricanes are not fun when your roof is gone and all your trees are dead. But we-soldier on.
Thanks for the EMT! I've had cow tongue at a Korean BBQ and for lengua tacos, it's quite good, kinda of tastes "beefier" than regular cuts of beef. Most of the rest of the food other than the smoked stuff was...well, interesting... 😐
Mmmmm lengua (beef tongue) - one of my favorites! And I actually love pickles & cream cheese - with ham. Makes a yummy appetizer. Almost couldn’t make it through this one because of the beeping noise in the background. Oh well! The barbecue looked interesting but I would be worried I would overcook or undercook everything.

They cut the fins off the sharks when they are alive and then throw them back into the sea, the sharks then cant swim which stops their float bladder from working which causes the sharks to drown. Its disgusting

You lost me at the shark fin. No restaurant should be serving shark fin in this day and age, knowing what that industry is doing to the shark population and I'm disappointed in you that you ordered it.
