My favorite burner is the front right. The burner plates are much different from what you were cleaning, so I might be looking at the wrong thing, I’m just not sure of anything except that mine are very dirty! Thanks for all your tips and tricks!,

I just used the heavy duty version and mine looks almost brand new now 👍

Have you tried soaking these in ammonia like the greasy stovetop?

Be careful! I tried this on my $5,000 stove and the powder coated paint on the burners peeled off and ruined my stove! I had to fight tooth and nail to get replacement burners under my warranty. Not fun!

I like the use of the blue OR towel. Might have to grab one out of my stash for this project lol.

Hi there...I have a question for either one of you! I got an early Christmas gift from my Mom...The Dupray Neat Steam Cleaner! If I need extra accessories, do I have to buy the Dupray Kit (on the expensive side) or can any other brush attachments work with this? Please let me know...thanks so much!

As far as I know from Dupray, the nylon and round brushes on their website are compatible with their consumer models. I have the Tosca and those attachments are interchangable.

Thought you weren't supposed to use oven cleaner on aluminum

Yes, be careful. I used Easy off on my aluminum burners and destroyed them. They are heavily pitted now and I have had to purchase new burners.

The grates go in the dishwasher. If you have boil overs or burnt on messes, let the parts cool and soak in a soapy, hot dish pan. Or put in the dishwasher. There is really no reason for a gas stove to get this bad.

      That won’t remove polymerized oils.

Soak them in a vinegar & baking soda solution

Thanks mine looked just like that and weren't burning cleanly, mine has the igniter I'm trying to disconnect now :D
edit: if anyone else has issue removing, mine had a locking tab on the electrical connection you had to press in from one side with a flathead and pull to remove.
