Very good video!!! I knew about the baking soda and dish soap but never thought about vinegar..I will definitely add it to the mix.
The only 2 suggestions I have for you is to be careful that the baking soda mix doesn’t get in the holes of the stovetop, so clean slowly or like another viewer said stop it up with paper towels. The last thing you need is for that expensive stove to stop working because of it.
And secondly, spraying vinegar ontop the backsplash might be if'ey
When I had my old stove it stopped working and the technician came to fix it 400$ later. It took him all of 5 minutes to do. He removed the electrical panel and told me it short circuited because of moisture. So from on now I make sure my rag is damp not wet and dry with another cloth immediately. Hope this info helps somebody.

Looks brand new . I did the vinegar and baking soda before now as an everyday I used vinegar water and dish with microfiber cloth and it's easy to maintain.

Great video! One tip I can give you is to never spray anything directly on your control panel, always spray it on a sponge or a rag first, and then go over your computer panel with that. Thanks for the video.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL!! You can't mix vinegar and bleach, you mentioned after using the vinegar and baking soda, to use any scrubbing thing of your choice, like comet, which is bleach, and ""Mixing bleach and vinegar creates potentially lethal chlorine gas"". Always know what's in your cleaners, like different toilet bowel cleaners look the same, and some have bleach, while others have other cleaners that might interact with bleach. (But bleach just works better in toilets! I can spray, let sit, then never have to scrub, cause the bleach will kill all the mold! Whereas the other cleaner does NOT kill the mold.)

Bleach and vinegar creates chloroform, ammonia and Bleach creates ammonium chloride gas

I do a different method using the same ingredients. I do mine overnight sometimes.

Good method! I would have plugged the holes to the nozzles with some paper towels to keep your mixture from getting into the burner nozzles and causing more problems.

To clean my gas stove top, I use Dawn dish soap and a magic eraser. I spread the Dawn dish soap over the stovetop and then spray a mixture of hot water and cleaning vinegar in a spray bottle. Spray over the stovetop and let it sit for about 10 to 15 minutes. Then use the magic eraser over the stovetop and then remove the solution with a wet towel. Until all the solution is wiped off, then buff the stovetop with a microfiber towel. My stovetop is shining and no film or smearing. Now, how I clean my grates, I spray with a grease cutter, then put the grates in a plastic bag, pour ammonia in the bag and tie the bag up tight. Let them sit for about two hours or overnight, it all depends how dirty they are. Remove from the bag, using a none abrasive sponge to go over the grates. Using the grease cutter and ammonia the baked on grease and curd will be softened. Rinse with warm water and then dry. Look like new.
Another product that works really well to clean your stovetop is PINK and Sponge Daddy.

Or just use plain windex- and let sit. The ammonia breaks up all the grease, softens baked on food, and is the most streak free cleaner i have ever used. Compared to general cleaners my mother used, like fantastic or other counter cleaner. I will even use it to clean up dripped raw chicken, raw meats on counter, and after just looking it up, it does kill salmonella, and other food born illnesses, just not cold or flu viruses on handles. (But that means it doesn't kill upon sitting, scientifically, not that it doesn't clean off the surfaces and gets rid of germs sticking, so i still use it on door knobs etc.)

I hate having a gas stove. I miss my electric fiberglass stove top. Gas tops are always a mess and a pain to keep clean.
I don't even trust the gas. I'm terrified when it will explode.

Mixing vinegar with bicarbonate loses its potency. The best thing to do is mix it with water.
