Worked great In a 2004 Chevy with the Bose system
Thank you so much finally got my sound back
Seriously lol nice find man just saved me big headache
Thanks bro out of all the videos I watched talking bout that stupid pink wire this worked
Glad it worked out for you 👍
This video saved me a 26 mile trip to town and about $15 for an amp bypass harness. It worked perfect on my 04 Silverado Z71. Thanks
Great info bro. Thanks!
Good job on my 2nd video from you!
This video helped my brother-in-law. He can now put his baby to sleep
Happy to help 👍
Thank you my guy!
Awesome fix. Thanks
He got the best video on this
Appreciate it 👍👌
Thank you, sir!
im having the no sound issue with the bose system on my truck gonna be putting in my headunit later and will try this trick!
If you have the bose amp there is a remote wire you have to hook up to turn amp on
@@JTLeyva I just put on a Boss HU . Got the crux sgm-17c , it has ports for amp and non amped, the amp port cuts off, it’ll works on Non amp but annoying loud. I have to cut off Tahoe and restart for the correct (Amped) port towork
did it work ? my tahoe has no sound also until it warms up
@@JTLeyvawhat wire is that and I'm assuming it comes from under the console where the bose amp is at? I hooked up the remote wire frm headunit to the pink wire and it still don't power on😢
Yo. Yo We're a God send. I couldn't get rid of that whine that would happen with the engine on. Was spinning my wheels for a couple days.. This definitely fixed it. Thank you sir. One question. Did you run power from the fuse box or Re u using the wire original power wire of the truck?
Yes original truck wire
Ur the freaking g .. 👍
I had this issue earlier in my 02 Yukon. I got tired of brainstorming and put the factory radio back in. Mine dont have the Bose stereo but it does have a disc changer. I'll try this tomorrow to see if it works.
Did it work
Fosho already im on...💯
or just unplug the wire from the factory amp and plug it into your Wire harness u bought. SIMPLE no cutting no nothing 👍🏽
Yo I figured it tf out you want better sound plug it back it how it’s supposed to grab the pink wire in there that tells the amp to turn on n trust me bro the shit bumps way better sounds like clear ass Bose system that plugging in shit was garbage all you needed to do is plug that pink wire into your accessory wire and boom all the sound comes back sounds good asf
Thanks for heads up...👌
You the man fam👍👍👍👍👍
@@michaeljoseph3079 yessirrrr
I did that and still got nothing
@@starshoppingmedia7864 depends on your year n model of the truck mine is a 03 suburban that has the Bose system so it’s different for the 99-02 and 06 go online put your year make n model n search for a radio diagram and look for what ever one says radio on signal I believe
Quick question please, do you have steering wheel controls. I was wondering because I have them and do I really need to keep them in order for my after market radio to work. Thank you
No I didn't. I'm not sure. 👍
Thank you sir 😃
No problem. Did it work for you?
Yes. I was glad the plug was the same.
👍👍
So if he said no splicing were did he connect his red and yellow and ground wires to? To the harnes or did he splice and looked for power and ground some were else?
That's the harness that you buy from Walmart, you have to wire your radio to the harness and then plug it into the other amp harness...
Simple and quick problem fix,and I just did it but I lost my front tweeters and rear tweeters as well. So that’s really the only downfall I can see
Gracias viejo me salvo de cortar un chingo de cables saludos desde la phinkera 🫡😎
I
Will this work on '03 yukons with Bose system sometimes GM changes the wiring harnesses in vehicles after so many years im having a constant ground loop noise in my amps that I cant get rid of
The noise is a bad ground, if you can, ground directly to the negative battery terminal. This application works for 01-06 models
Dose this work for the 01 yukon xl no bose system
anyone know the factory part number on a 2003 bose radio harness chevy suburban?
Will this work for a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe LT 4x4 with bose Amplifier
Not sure I have never owned that year model truck
😮. Hope mine is as easy to find in the 02 Express with the Bose system. Worth a shot! Thanks!
Update: it was not 😭. Looks like I’ll be taking it in to the stereo store. I’m tired of wrestling with it. Factory stereo back in place for now. 🤷🏼♀️
Thanx
I peeped the BB king sample
My BOUIIIIO A LIFE SAVER
Did it work for you?
@@kendrickscales1039 hell yeah man game changer but aye does your speakers make a scratching noise or anything at like high volume I can’t figure it out man I checked all the wirings and the stereo setting but man shits driving me crazy
Sounds like a ground wire problem or bad speaker. Once you complete that conversation, you should hear clear music.
@@kendrickscales1039 I’ve checked all maybe a ground but there Bose in the front that do it the factory speakers but the kickers in the back are perfectly fine makes no sence because the trucks stock stereo had the volume way louder with more bass and never made a noise
I don't know bro. Mine worked just fine
How did you find the constant 12v wire
Or all power wires In general?
From just working on them for so long
Which one is it then. I’m trying to hook up my double din without having to buy the interface
Look up for the wiring diagram. What I do
@@Flyguytee orange one
@@Flyguytee you have to buy the harness so you can plug it into the amp harness you can't just wire it unless you want to cut all the wires on the amp harness that's insane just buy the $10 harness
My man oh s*** where you been
Did it work for you?
So I did this but no sound f!@$ any other suggestions
Go to the 5 min start video save u 5 mins of your life that's where it showes u
I need an amp to hear your video!
Tried on mine, turned stereo to 40 max volume and could barely hear it
Does this work on tahoes without bose
I'm not sure I only tried those with the bose.
Can't hear a damn word you sayin'.
This worked for me but I lost my front right door speaker
Get some lotion on your hands before they crack open. :) Good video man.
You must haven't heard. "Black don't crack" 😆
Lmaoooooo
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I did that and my front speakers didn’t work and my back speakers were so low I COULDNT hear them. I have steering wheel controls and onstar
Check the speaker wire connection
What was that song ?
Pimptro by "too much trouble"
If you do it this way, you loose your Bose audio. He had everything right, all he had to do was connect the blue with white stripe so the factory amp turned on
That's what I'm tryin to do and spliced it to the pink wire for remote turn on and it still don't power on 😢
Sound only comes out of front driver side
We can't hear you
Tried it, barley any sound
We really can't hear you
On hood bro help me more then all these other white boys
Lotion bro.
i cant hear ya
Icant Evan hear what your saying
Good tip, but there's no reason for this video to be longer than 60 seconds, to be honest.
Shut up!.....
