I have one, and I absolutely adore it.
3 yrs ownership and 24000 miles.
    Perfect for me.
I have done track days, touring, and scratching the lot.
    Service intervals are brilliant.

Great review, discovered your channel whilst looking at reviews for the Triumph Speed400, one of which I have on order (only a few weeks away now) I also consider myself very lucky to own a Multistrada V4S which I’ve had from new for 2 years now, it’s honestly a fabulous bike, I absolutely love it, Did 1000 miles in 2 days in France last month and it was epic!

I went for the V2S after three GSs, so impressed this is my choice next time, so much more exciting to ride and I love the red.

Sounds amazing. I tested the V100 Mandello and loved it but this seems like a slightly more sporty contender, although perhaps less character.

What do you think about the mirror vibration? I purchased a 2023 four months ago and those mirrors do vibrate quite a bit around 55 mph to where it's difficult to make out a vehicle brand 3-4 car length behind you. Quite disappointing I might add. I plan on pulling the mirror stalks off and placing some rubber gromets at the base to see if that helps. It's hard to distinguish if it's a cop or a regular car creeping up LOL

Thanks for the review. Even though it was more structured with voice over. I did prefer the rawness of your Triumph 1200 review, which had me laughing and enjoying how much enthusiasm and excitement you felt riding it. Perhaps if you were to record again like that, just systematically work your way around the bike, such as 1. start up 2. Sound going up & down through gears 3. Brakes 4. Switchgear etc. This way if feels like we are with you on the ride rather than studio. After a while it will come naturally. Hope this helps, but love your reviews regardless.

Another great review mark, but the question is would you swap out the R for the Ducati👍🏻

What I have noticed all these multistrada V4s seem to all belong to old rich guys that ride quite quickly in the twisties where I do most of my own riding. Now up until a year or two ago I had been (past tense) doing a fair amount of group ADV rides centered around all the best dirt routes in my area of southern california. What I did NOT seem to ever see was Ducati mounted folks. Weird because there was no big shortage of GS riders ....at least whenever a "big bike friendly and/or beginner" routes were specified (aka actual sane routes without bike eating ruts and deep sand/ boulder strewn etc) so it was not just a matter of no rich folk cause I saw some $30kish beemers on the trails. My only point being from my own limited perspective I dont know why Ducati bothered making the things dirt worthy? I'd want a tad lower CG, a tad less suspension and lower seat height IOW along with one piece forged 17"wheels! "Sport Touring" bikes IOW since thats all I see em used for anyway....not that the current recipe seems to slow down the riders I come accross any ....although come to think of it they all do seem to be taller large males riding em! I'm just why have extra weight and height and suspension travel you dont even need? Its why I interested in the new BMW 1300 boxer but only if they do it as an RS next year!

I have the DVT 1200S. The 19 inch front wheels on these are a mistake and somehow the front end of the bike went from being big to enormous. Not interested.

Great Review - thanks! My honest review is: Since I am > 50 % up for design and beauty, I cannot ride the V4, neither MulStra nor Diavel - both lost their sexiness. So V2 all the way!

One thing with Ducati is you need to sell them very early on as they plumber in resale value very quickly.

I don’t own either of them. I ride a Sports Tourer but I’m thinking of going the ADV bike route in the future mainly because of the deteriorating roads and deteriorating joints and bones… but without sacrificing too much of the sharp road handling so the Ducatis seem to be the most road focused ADV bikes. Problem with the V4s is the fuel consumption and with the V2s missing on the 142hp I’m enjoying right now
