Man I’m so happy you’re back on youtube. I have been following this channel for a long time and this year I finally got my motorcycle license and got my bike on the road for the first time so it is just awesome that your channel has come back to life. Hope you are doing great man.

As a V4 Pike's Peak and V4 Panigale owner, I've also ridden the standard V4 Multistrada. 100% yes, try the PIke's Peak. It's not Panigale V4 fast, but between a V2 and V4 and it corners so much better than the standard MSV4S.

Hey man glad to have you back!
As far as the sluggish/unhooigan feeling when you road this bike, you have to put traction control and wheelie control off or set it to 0 in the settings. If not it’s going to dumb the power out( or smooth it out too much so you aren’t getting that punch) There are 8 levels or something crazy so trust me it changes the bike completely depending on what you have it on. I would advise that for every bike in the future. Just makes the bike feel more alive and raw like it was designed to be.

This isn’t the bike you want for off-road. You can put knobby tires on it and do some gravel roads, but it’s no R1250GSA when it comes to the big adventure bikes. KTM 890 Adventure R is probably the most functional but it really depends on how hardcore you’re willing to go. It’s hard to beat an actual dirt bike when it comes to dedicated off-road duty. But I’m not about that life, so take my opinion as just that. You can do whatever you want if you’re brave enough and have the willpower to not get broken picking up a 500lb vehicle over and over. I do like the adventure style sport touring bikes though. I’m just a hooligan. If it’s good at doing wheelies, navigating around cars at slow speeds, carving up twisty roads, hopping curbs, picking off cars and motorcycles that line up at a stop light. I’m going to have a great time. I ride a gen-3 MT-09 for exactly that reason. Anyway glad to see you back on the tubes of you Brent! Hopefully the other og’s come back too.

Hello, here a note from The Netherlands. I am driving a Multistrada V4S Sport for almost a year now. It's the best bike I have ever driven. It's a adventurebike, a tourer and a sportsbike in one. I drove it in the Alps and its so much better and quicker then for accemple a BMW 1200 GS. I tried a Pikes Peak and it is true, with the Peak you are quicker in the curves, but when you also want to go off road you beter take de V4S. There are only two negative aspects on this bike: 1. It needs more fuel than other bikes of the same categorie. 2. It's expencive to buy. But the rest is perfect.

Would be curious to know your mode settings. Need to turn wheelie control off, traction down low, and give her the beans up high in the rev range. This bike likes to sing and is comically fun at redline gear to gear with the front wheel clawing at the sky quite aggressively.

30 mpg at 37 mph? Man, that's disappointing. Many cars do better than that. If you're buying a bike for fuel economy, that's not a good reason. Sort of explains why in this country, bikes for the most part are of recreational value.
Yeah, you need to scale down the cc's if you want fuel economy in a bike. I bought a 125cc for commuting for that reason. at 75 mpg, the fuel savings start to add up.

Dude you need to rev the thing out! You got like 3000 more revs to the limiter and then complain that it's not exiting enough?

I’m looking at a multistrada v4s online that’s at wow motorcycles. Do you live in the Atlanta area? My only concern is that I’m 5’ 6” and the seat height seems like it may be a challenge. I’m all torso too 😂

Take a test ride on the BMW s1000xr its a touring bike but its based on the s1000r so more sport bike feel just make sure you ride it in dynamic pro mode and set the power to max and set the anti wheelie to high wheelie possible computer stops you from flipping the bike but makes it a hooligan machine the throttle response in the other modes is not the best.

I have 14 1190 adventure which has loads of low rpm torque. How does the XR torque feel at low and mid range rpm’s?

Is this bike different from other Ducati bikes where you can actually work on it? Or more proprietary expensive tools or terrible maintenence processes? Looks good
