Yes it's a Comfortable ride I've put 2000 + Kms on my X26 in 6 weeks
But I prefer long distance pedaling from the rear seat - beach cruiser style , works ok with a aftermarket 130 mm handlebar extension to give laid back riding position. pump rear shocks up around 120 -150 psi depending on terrain for extra damping.
Cruise control is initiated holding up button 3 seconds, cruise icon illuminates in display when activated ( holding throttle another 3 seconds at required speed sets cruise even in pedal assistance normal mode !!)
X26 Problems in 6 weeks hard riding =
1. cross bar battery rattle if not stopped leads to battery self-destructing - the terminals disintegrate. fix = wrap 50mm gorilla tape around front of battery to eliminate rattle. order new terminal block from Engwe!!
2. Seat post Battery drops when riding over rough terrain = leading to connection bottoming out on frame and battery connector self destructing because it passes the minimum height setting😬
fix= order new battery connector from Engwe
prevent battery bottoming by putting a stop bolt underneath the battery just above it minimum height setting 🤦
3.standard tyres inner tubes are very prone to punctures had , 4 punctures in 2 weeks 😬
fix = installed heavy duty 6mm thick motorcycle inner tubes , so far NO more flats in 6-700 miles 🤞

Have same bike and sometimes i even forgot helmet to home. When riding the bike you don't feel pressure, it's like riding the motorcycle.

But really you need helmet. Aside that you have a good content and i do have the same bike, they gave the upgraded version now as well.
It's a very good e-bike, everyday to work on it.
It appears that you have the older generation X26. I just got my X26 last week. The batteries are now blended. You do not have to switch the power cable. Also they added a hole to allow charging the smaller battery without having to fold and remove the battery. Sport mode is also limited to three minutes now.
I was gonna comment this. Yeah, seems Engwe listened and made some mods.
We have E-Bikes in Perth as well and we also have E-Bikes burning houses down. My friend lost her house because the 1 month old E-Bikes battery had exploded. Yes its a nice bike but that battery. The bike was not even being charged at the time. The temperature of the fire was White hot 6,000 degrees and just left a gear sprocket and part of the chain. Im not saying dont buy just be informed that if the battery faults and explodes, your in for a world of hurt. Thanks Randy.
"We have ebikes" while saying batteries burn down houses (which they have) is such a broad statement. Like u didn't even specify this bike or was it another ebike battery. Mostly all of these batteries are safe coming from the more expensive bikes and UL rated and don't over charge. Of course practice battery safety though.
That heavy it is like a small motorcycle. For short range or a student type of transportation. Perfect!

Where is the part where you go fast lol. 30 is fast if you're 90 but even my grandpa thinks that's slow as hell lol. I thought the thing would do 60 like some electric bikes my moped does 50 mph but it is souped up a bit as I like speed 30 mph to me is slow as hell.

Interesting e-bike. I like the dual batteries and the strong hub motor. I am a bit concerned about the 90 lb weight though. Wonder how long they warranty them for?

Just found your channel and really enjoyed you’re video and your energy, BUT the fact that you didn’t wear a helmet makes me cringe! I’m also a TH-camr, and I believe we should be giving a good example for our viewers to protect themselves and always wear a helmet, and even better safety pads for the faster eBikes. Mine saved my life and I was only going 18 mph on the bike path….

Just got my X26. I like the large size and it looks really nice. I am happy with the power as I can get up to almost 30mph.
The rear shocks are stiff and totally useless. Rode it like maybe 4 miles and the battery went down to 60%??? I'm 160 pounds.
The battery rattling noise is there. The brakes make a lot of noise and doesn't stop very well. The seat is not comfortable and feels cheap. I'll have to upgrade to a better seat.
Damn, i thought this was the Shop at Home Channel with all the bicycles thats being pushed. Geez Randy

Damn, I'm on disability, but I'd love one of these. I could buy one now, but I live in Minnesota. I couldn't use it during the winter months, but damn, so sweet. I wish I could purchase one, but I need a vehicle. If I had the weather to ride one all year, I'd order one now.

Seems like u should have the 24 instead of 26 , I need to test ride one of these being 6'3" most ebikes are to small.

I think you mentioned just about everything but that BIG sore thumb in the back, the back seat. What the heck is that back seat doing there it seems like a waste. I wonder if I could replace it with maybe a basket for groceries or something like that, just saying.
That pointless seat would be the first thing to go. As you say, a luggage rack is so obviously the right accessory there. If you are going to put a second seat on it (don’t) then at least include foot pegs or provision for them.
How is the battery charged?
Newer version late 2023. Has two charging ports, so batts can stay on bike. Also modified so both batteries will work in tandem with each other.
it needs finders for rainy days , or is it not recommended to use when it's raining ? nice bike😀
They released the upgraded version ,I would send that one back,it has an upgraded fork and batteries can be combined to work together... and the rear wheel mount they changed the angle of it ,all of us x26 owners are not happy
