This is such a game-changer! We've been trying to decide what our next RV would be since we are downsizing. We agree this fits the bill, and is the ONLY trailer we've seen that ticks off all the boxes. Can't wait until they start producing it! We are very interested!!!

My dad built a trai.er just like this back in the mid 60's and it slept our family of five just fine. He pulled it with a 1960 Pontiac station wagon. It was way better than a tent🙂
Wow That little RV is absolutely GORGEOUS! You don't see white wall tires like that except on old restored cars & the inside reminds me of a 50's Diner ❤ the Retro style! Thanks so much for sharing 😊
That's awesome!!! My dad has a 27 year old travel trailer that's aluminum roof, siding and frame and it's held up remarkably well! It's easily been towed well over 100k miles and I wouldn't hesitate to take it across the country tomorrow. I'm glad to see a manufacturer doing this!
I love it too. I always liked the floor plans of truck campers. This is very similar. I like the idea of the bed being up high and out of the way in a compact trailer with a full dry bath. Plus side is that it's all aluminum frame.
We had one by Shasta 16’ my parents first trailer. It was a 1963 or 1964 first trip to Yellowstone, Tetons and Mount Rushmore 3 weeks swing through the west. It works well.
I love it. The outside is amazing, the inside has everything you could ever want. I have looking for something small, but roomy, for my daughter and I. I do believe we found, our next home. 😊❤
I really love the Retro RVs. This unit is absolutely adorable!! I would love it in the teal color scheme. I didn’t notice any out side storage, but could have just missed it in the video. I would totally purchase one of these. Thanks for sharing the unit JD. Safe Travels
Very cool, reminds me of the Fan trailer we had when I was a kid. Ours was a 17ft and could sleep all 5 of us comfortably with the overhang, the dinette, and a fold out couch in the back.
I love it! Can they produce a model like this without the dinette and add more storage below the bed instead? I full time and don't have a need for a dinette. I can use the breakfast bar along the window with stools as my office and eating area. This is a wonderful design!
@@celestepalm6949 That, and people with a couple kids...dinette's a must for kids on a rainy day! Seems like an easy alternative to have that swapped though.
I'd want to mount 2200 watt generator on rack above the LP tanks & maybe some 6v or lithium batteries behind the LP. So thinking less tongue weight would be better since I want to use that space
It looks cool just something to remember with the overhang. If your truck has a tall topper or ladder rack, you would most likely have to use a hitch extension to keep the RV overhang from hitting when you turn.
@chrisallen2005 I know first-hand because I had a truck camper I would sometimes put on my car/equipment trailer when I needed to use my removable ladder rack. The front of the truck camper was even with the trailer tongue. I had a 4 foot extension, which was way overkill, I think a 2' would have worked but I already had the 4 foot extension hitch which I chained/turnbuckled back up to the truck for extra strength. That gave the extra distance I needed when turning sharp, so nothing would go "crunch."
This was my first thought when I saw where the trailer tongue was, I alway have a camper top on my truck, but thats just me. Camper top on my truck protects any gear I have for fishing or hunting if I use my truck as a mobile camper, or just an overnite crash pad traveling across country.
I really like that approach to just being different. So many just build the same ones over and over. That size is great for a couple. A duel axle with a bit more length for a family and these guys are golden with this idea.
Super-cool! I love the 50's retro vibe, and the living space seems quite... LIVE-ABLE. Also like the separated shower/ toilet (so not a wet-bath). Looks like good storage in the bath room, too, in those cubbies. The light weight is great, and even though I know little about it, I agree - having that heavier tongue/ hitch area, seems like it would give better control - especially in windy conditions, etc. Like the aluminum frame, but (and you didn't mention it), how is the insulation? Should be able to fit some super-insulation into the framing spaces, to compensate for the lack of wood frame and its insulation value. (But, beyond reading some books, what do I know? I've never built anything "real' in my life.. :-) Glad this showed up in my feed. TFS!! Kudos to the makers!
Great for couples who want to be tight and cozy, perfect for solo camper and even full time solo camper. Gotta be nimble to access the overhang bunk. Absolutely cool for sure. For me it would be perfect setup.
I LOVE this. Very 50s/60s looking. The bed on top makes the rest of the trailer look roomy! Lots of storage considering its size. Would like to tour this myself.
Very nice build! Thank you for sharing. Looks like the dinette would make into a bed as well. As a child my mom & dad had a small trailer & our family of 5 fit in it. My brothers slept over head, mom & dad slept on the dinette & I slept under the dinette bed. OF course we had a chamber pot instead of a toilet. I would really enjoy having a trailer like this!
Manufacturers seem to have forgotten that on in an RV for a lot of folks or camper trailer is a luxury and there needs to be markets for all the budgets people want to spend on luxury goods. Having something like this and the High Teens low 20s allows first-timers and beginners to enter the market which I think is really smart so props to these guys. Still waiting for the super small lightweight camper with toilet it's enclosed that isn't a pop-up to be in the 6,000 to 10,000 range.
My family had a trailer in the early sixties that I think was a Sante Fe. Sort of the same layout with the cab over . Knotty pine interior ,bathroom, really cool. I'll bet this trailer featured will be a game changer for the industry.
Love it. Affordable, practical, easy to pull for beginners and towable by a lot of vehicles. If the price point is what they hinted, it will be a winner.
Reminds me of the older actually half ton fifth wheels 😂. We camped last year and there was an old forest river no slide fifth wheel that had just a bed over the fifth wheel like that. The owner said it weighed just over 5,000lbs and around 800 tongue loaded it was like 26-30 overall I wanna say.
We owned a Bigfoot 5er. Molded fiberglass, no slides, double axles, less than 5,000 pounds, dry bath, and only 20 feet long from the pin to the back of the spare tire. Loved it but didn't use it. I really wish they would start making them again but the mold burned up in a fire in the early 90s.
Is that why they stopped making a 5th wheel? My Husband and I were just discussing this last night. They should definitely try and buy a unit and remake a mold.
Very neat!! I love 5th wheels so this makes sense. For me personally it needs to be a bit more beefy. Double axels and insulated. Love tge framing, that's how my little truck bed camper is built, smart. No dry rot.
Pretty sweet! We’ve had a pop up for 10 years. We live the open feel with all the windows. Most campers just don’t have enough large windows, leaving you feeling stuck in a tin can. This model seems to have plenty of windows. Looks very open.
Absolutely love it. Favorite part is there are NO slide outs to maintain or worry about them leaking. I lived in a 5th wheel for 5 1/2 long years, saving up $$ to buy a house and property. I would definitely buy this if I had a truck.

Very cool. Love the space inside, the good size fridge and freezer, even the bed which I hope has something on the side like a bedrail. The only problem is that I no longer have anything to tow with and overall I’m not real fond of towing anymore. We did it once. That was enough for me!
When i was a kid, im 67 now, mom n Dad had one very similar to this, lol there was 5 of us kids n mom n dad with an old 60 something station wagon, we loved it back then. One of our trailers was 16 foot the other 17 foot. Sardines but its some of my fondest memories. still have trailers ya know slides fire places ext; boy have things changed, cool trailer
What a smart idea! Love the idea of having a bed out and above the bed of the truck without needing a fifth wheel hitch. One way that the hitch weight could be offset a bit would be to put a storage rack or bin option on the back for larger items like chairs and grills and such.
Well, I'm amazed! I have an older cab over camper almost exactly like yours. The door on mine is on the passenger side. Sadly, she's a fixer upper. Would love to make her beautiful again!
