If you know anything about machining, you'd know how much that increases cost as it slows down production. As for the hotbox reputation it seems to have, ye4s it does run warmer than average, but if you know how to properly tune your voltages, its perfectly capable just like any other 10L case. I've built two personal systems with this case and I have no regrets as it taught me a lot about cooling and power efficiency, so it's not for the average lego system builder.

About the CPU, the non-x versions of the Ryzen 7000 CPUs deliver similar or identical performance at a much lower wattage, meaning they can be cooled way way easier.
If you could somehow cleanly route that with water cooling on the cpu(external pump, reservoir, and radiator) you could make that work well After rewatching it, you totally could!!

only thing i hate these cases: they dont have dust filters and its take a lot dust i use silverstone sugo 13 its very compact except inside but its look so cool but its gettin dusty very easy and thermal performance is if you use i9 its gettin hot very easy and gettin dust almost all day so if they want these cases common they should work on dust filter and thermal performance
I have an Xproto-L build with all exposed parts. It's not that big of a deal Dust accumulates faster sure but not as fast as you think and a compressed fan of air or an electric duster works just as good.

See I wanted to get one to use to train some smaller sized neural networks and I really liked the performance and power efficiency. I was also looking at 3080s which have similar performance with more Cuda cores, but they aren't going to be supported for as long and they would take more power. I plan on putting it through its paces so I wasn't sure which would be better for my needs since I won't be using it for gaming.

And at an ITX level, unless you have really good cooling, you don’t need all the random bells and whistles these expensive boards come with… and really? A 4070? Should have gone with the 7900xtx for damn near the same price and way better performance… And it’s paired with a 7800x3d…. Now you have the benefit of AMDs SAM which does get around a 5-10% boost in performance with no extra price….

its a great way to flex wit that cpu gpu combo, but when building in an miniITX case, understanding the limitation in the performance of the components for the airflow is the heaven
