I just realized Remington james used basically this exact same recipe 4 years after you did, same measurements and everything 🤔 i used your video and just substituted the peanut butter for powdered and it still tastes just as good great video mean

Ok. I don't understand how something that simple can be that good.. Watched the video, went to the kitchen and found all the ingredients and made it in under 5. Froze for 30 and it was actually damn good :) Used the ON extreme milk chocolate proteinpowder and turned out awesome!
dude.. you really got me motivated with your vids.. im not really a guy that struggles with motivation when it comes to working out but when it comes to eating healthy i always end up with the same couple of recipes which kinda sucks ^^ your videos really helped me out getting some diversity in my diet while staying healthy at the same time!! appreciate your effort - keep going and greetz from austria
a good way to remember is that 1 fluid ounce = 30 ml- it's really a little under 30 ml- round it up to 30 ml to make the math easier a cup is 8 ounces- and a half cup is 4 ounces- you need 4 ounces of water for this recipe 4 ounces (amount you need) x 30 ml (ml per ounce) = 120 ml
It's nice he included an actual measurement system instead of only some 'guess-the-amount' imperial system shit. Thanks. Numbers are important for success.
I make these with myprotein hurricane xs, so got creapure and hmb in them, maximuscle cyclone bars are £2.49 ea, these work out at £1.96 for about 6 bars!!
Thanks for the switch the metric (or at least an acknowledgement it exists!) Makes life just that little easier. (And thanks for another recipe - easy one!)
If you add more fluid (milk, water, applesauce, whatever..) an egg and 'bake' it on low heat - say, 225°f for thirty minutes- you needn't worry about 'spoilage'.
Made this today for the first time. Used cookies and cream protein and liked how it paired with the peanut butter. It was excellent and all the measurements were spot on. Thanks!!
The stone (abbreviation st[1]) is an informal unit of measure equal to 14 pounds avoirdupois (about 6.35 kg[nb 1]) used in Great Britain and Ireland for measuring human body weight.
This is identically the same recipe I have used for the last 10+ yrs. I have changed it up twice in that time by adding finely chopped dates for a little more sweetness, and coating the bars with unsweetened dark bakers chocolate. I have also only ever used vanilla protein powder, but after watching this, I may give chocolate protein powder a try. The chocolate coating which is sugar free and pure cocoa adds some real nice flavoring without adding any of the bad stuff that you see in commercial protein bars. Last year, I have posted this recipe in a cookbook to share as it is the best protein bar recipe out there. Try it, experiment with it by adding different types of dried fruit, and you will love it!
I like how Michael does not forget europeans, as he mentions not only imperial units, but also metric ones. That's really useful for us, viewers, and adds to the overall of the video itself. Keep up that real good form (if you know what I mean..), pal! :)
I used to buy protein bars, but i saw the nutrition list and i was surprised about how many calories and sugar there is.. finally i found a good protein bar recipe :)! and this is sooo good :) . finally I can enjoy my fav protein bars .. Do more recipes please :).. this video deserves a thumps up!
Dude you're vids are amazing. They are short and to the point and I dont have to listen to a bunch of nonsense! Great job definitely going to subscribe!
The second Video I saw from you now, after the cable fly video. Great! Subscribed, I love it that you add the european wheight of the components, subscribed! Greeting from Germany :)
Great video! Instead of .5 Cup of water I used half a can of Goya Cream of Coconut. The thin 15 ounce can that is sweetened, so i use about 7.5 ounce, then drizzle in additional water if needed for desired consistency. I also added raisins for added chewyness. Awesome taste with chocolate flavored protein powder! The coconut must mix well with the protein power because I don't feel hungry at all for hours after eating this.
tried it using my vanilla whey protien and just added unsweetened cocoa powder and skim milk, organic plain peanut butter then popped it in the freezer...tastes awesome!
Thanks,I'm a grade 6 learner and this year we need to make our own snack bar.You really helped me!I will use this as my snack bar! Thanks For Your Support!
How about switching the almond milk for half a cup of liquid egg whites. They are pretty much flavorless and half a cup is another 14g of protein with no fat or carbs.
I have followed this recipe in the past and got floppy and soggy bars as a result. I tried it again just now and got good results. I also baked it for 20 minutes at 250, to remove some excess moisture which I thought would contribute to sogginess.
I think it worked pretty well, and yes it was in fahrenheit. But it's worth noting that if you leave them uncovered in the refrigerator, they will start to dry out on their own in a less controllable manner. So after drying them in the oven I put them in plastic baggies to keep them at the moisture level I liked.
Great recipie. So simple and easily understood. I agree completely about recipies with ingredients that you could never come across, especially in Ireland. Thanks a million Michael
Absolutely awesome ten minutes all together 5 to round up ingredients and utensils. 5 minutes to mix the ingredients. Incredibly simple but extremely tasty. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great video! For my brothers and sisters that need to gain and eat-to-maintain, this video gives us a good idea as to how we can make some peanut butter fudge brownies!!!
Nice man I'll have to try that. Sometimes you want to eat something solid rather than a liquid even though it does the same thing. Just more fulfilling this easy.
will def be making these today! i am on a low carb lifestyle and this is perfect and i appreciate that don't have to have a long list of ingredients to make them.....since i don't have oatmeal, i will be using coconut flakes instead.
I made the homemade protein bars for the first time and im never buying shop protein bars now it was saw easy and taste a lot better when u make them yourself
Gonna try these! I am a dedicated, committed rugby player who's going to the gym too, so nutrition is a big deal for me. Skipping processed food as much as possible is one of the things I try to follow, so I'm very happy that I'm about to switch the processed protein bars which I buy online, with real ingrediënts :). How much do you put for powdered peanut butter and keep the water same as 1/2 cup
Also I’m here the TH-cam channel because Remington James keeps stealing recipes.
@@luisf466 i used the food scale for the 12g of powder peanut butter and added about the equal amount of water
that's what he does. steal lol
I leave a like because he put in the ingredients in the metric system
lol same

ZDog1 I think you mean that amount per bar, not 8 bars in total
Thanks for working this out - I was trying to figure out that exact info.
can i bake it to make it crunchy?
ZDog1 I wish 8 bars have 174 calories!
Gotta count the non stick cooking oil he used.. I would just use parchment paper though
Ok. I don't understand how something that simple can be that good.. Watched the video, went to the kitchen and found all the ingredients and made it in under 5. Froze for 30 and it was actually damn good :) Used the ON extreme milk chocolate proteinpowder and turned out awesome!
Per Krem literally just did the same exact lol
"Thats good form right there, really good form" lol. Man thats classic..
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH FOR CONSIDERING THE METRIC SYSTEM!!!
I was so fed up with using converters!
Made them last week for a trail . They are awesome although I made it with water . I loved them ! Thank you man !

Thank you for the metric measurements!

Yeah but the denatured proteins from the protein powder will taste disgusting 😩.
That's not true
Made this today for the first time. Used cookies and cream protein and liked how it paired with the peanut butter. It was excellent and all the measurements were spot on. Thanks!!
Thank you Michael. These recipes really help me survive my sweet tooth cravings without ruining my fitness program :)

guys if you want to bring the protein bars with you use the milk powder instead of liquid milk
Is it to make it last longer or making it stay in shape? Does the expiration rate increases too?
@@mielolaedez4563 Powdered milk can last you 2-10 years according to a Google search.
How long do they last in the fridge with liquid milk?

@Michael Kory ur instructions weren’t even clear my protein bars r messed up because of u thanks a lot
GG for the grams! Thank you for the metric system :)
Very nice. Just made some and got to say it tastes better than store bought ones that taste plasticy

Just a tip I found that using clingfilm makes it easier. You don't need the oil and doesn't stick and less washing up!
Just made my first batch of these. Taste so good :D
Love it: no cook, no sugar. More. Kudos!
"Thats good form right there" i like the tmw references ^^
You are a true hero. Integrating the metric system I Love You.!!!!
I just made this after seen your top ten recipes video :D
How was it did u do exactly how he did it or add more stuff to it?
I put 2 scoops of ppeanut butter instead of 5. But it was good. But just a tip, use less than 1/2 cup of water cause I used 1/2 and it was too much.
Ahh ok thanks for the tip I will be trying this recipe when I run out of protein bars thanks again
Fran07Chile I used 1/2 cup of milk and it wasn't enough so I used 1 cup
i just made one right now, using this recipe. My wife and son loved the taste.

Micheal is making all kinds of gains with these protein bars. ALL KINDS!
if you are using water, add 1 cup instead of 1/2
how many calories in a piece????
I'm going to try these as is and then add some crunchy peanut butter some raisins or some other dried natural fruit. Can't wait.
Great video but i'm confused on the serving.... recipe states 8 servings but in the video you only made 6.
tried it using my vanilla whey protien and just added unsweetened cocoa powder and skim milk, organic plain peanut butter then popped it in the freezer...tastes awesome!
"You know there are more flavors than just chocolate and vanilla!" 😂 "I'm not going to sit here and name ever flavor!" 😂
You can also use UHT milk if you're worried about them spoiling. PB2 is a good alternative to peanut butter if you live in the states.
I'm doing it right now, let's hope for the best -.- , I'll update, doing it with water.
Was all right, will be trying it with different protein powders.
does this melt if not put in the fridge?
Thanks,I'm a grade 6 learner and this year we need to make our own snack bar.You really helped me!I will use this as my snack bar! Thanks For Your Support!
Very considerate of the Europeans deserves a thumbs up.
Haha, indeed.
Thanks for the simple but great recipe and the conversion of cups to European measurements.
How about switching the almond milk for half a cup of liquid egg whites. They are pretty much flavorless and half a cup is another 14g of protein with no fat or carbs.
its no bake protein bars, how would you eat raw egs... they would probably spoil right away too..
Pasturized eggs whites can be eaten raw.
Tom Wilson they would spoil once out of the carton
Left a like for adding grams to the measurements. Appreciate that 👍

What happens to the bars on a hot day ? Do they melt ? I always take protein bars to school.
Just freeze the bars you intend to take to school and take them out of the freezer when you wake up, before you go to school.
They get wet
Coat them in chocolate 🤷♀️
These are so easy to make Michael. I added a little bit of honey to the mix as well, tastes delicious!
for how many days can i keep these
Soumik Sarker until they go bad
prob abou 7 days
Depends if you decide to freeze them or not
I actually got a protein bar recipe sent to me from a friend of mine...they taste like actual brownies and nothing less and are amazing.
