    Didn't have chocolate, coconut oil, or sweetner. Decided to experiment with just: Chocolate Almond milk, Peanut butter, and Met-Rx whey protein peanut butter cup flavor. Mix it and tossed it in the freezer for an hour, super easy to make. Taste amazing and I haven't shit myself.

    These = priceless. Replaced 30 g of peanut butter with some PB2 for more protein. Added some seasalt on top. Best snack ever.
    Tips: Definitely freeze them. Feels way more “fresh”. Also don’t skip the part with the cooking spray, a must to have some lubricant

  • @puneetsharma211

    First off I made these last night and they taste awesome! But the macros don't add up correctly for the protein at least:
    1 cup vanilla whey 25 grams protein (considering it's a whey blend)
    1/3 cup peanut butter 22 grams protein maybe
    1/3 almond milk 0.5 grams or so of protein
    Liquid sweetner 0 grams protein
    1/4 cup chocolate chips 2 grams protein maybe?
    Coconut oil 0 grams protein
    Total 50 grams protein approx.
    Divide the 50 by the 9 servings you mentioned and that's like 5.55 grams of protein in each instead of 13 grams like you mentioned, I was kind of disappointed there as protein was one of my main goals in this

    How do you get the chocolate so thin? Mine always comes out super thick and I can't really pour it on the peanut butter. I've made these tons of times its honestly my favourite protein dessert recipe on youtube I just never figured out how to get the melted chocolate that thin. I even tried adding almond milk to the chocolate too

    Finally got around to making these today... Absolutely awesome. I used BSN Syntha 6 Vanilla Ice Cream as my protein (which I know is not the healthiest, but it's what I had kicking around). The flavor of the peanut butter mix was ABSOLUTELY spot on!! Didn't ad any Stevia as the Syntha 6 is already pretty damn sweet. Awesome recipe!!

  • @bearstearn3382
    @bearstearn3382 10 ปีที่แล้ว +10

    40% off???! that sounds a bit suspicious and only further closes in on the fact that they may not use raw ingredients (whey) that meet label claims. any company that sells whey protein at 40% off would probably not even be able to cover their cost and even actually lose money

    • @jesusjones3014
      @jesusjones3014 10 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      they are doing the whey as whats called a loss leader = en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loss_leader = to promote their brand and other products and make a name for themselves ASAP since the USA is their latest venture to get into. Companies do this all the time. Protein is by far the most competitive product so price is the best way to get a customer into your "brand" and hope they try something else as well that they have way higher profit margins on (like pre workouts which are low cost for most companies and they charge out the wazoo for and have big margins) so this is how they do this... lose money to gain a customer and hope they like your brand and become a loyal buyer and try other higher margin products (plus they now have your email to market to you for free so they also consider it a gain in that respect even though it cost them a little profit to get your info when you buy the 40% off protein deal!)

    • @jonniboi1986

      MyProtein have been in the UK for years and steadily built themselves up. As the guys above mentioned, it's a new brand in the US and selling at a loss isn't too big a surprise if it gets then good will and new custom.

    Michael dont use that crappy processed louanna coconot oil - its very low quality and you can read up on it vs virgin cocont oil (sometimes also known as extra virgin). You DO NOT have to buy organic as its much more expensive but you do need to get virgin/extra virgin coconut oil. Nutiva and Natures Way are 2 brands Ive used just FYI...
    Love the cooking/recipe videos so I am glad you are still doing them. The workout videos are ok but Im from the camp that doesnt "need" extra motivation so I just watch them to see how you are progressing over time and if you also thrown in your daily eating/apt/GF just to keep up with your life...LOL KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

  • @chicanoblvd
    @chicanoblvd 10 ปีที่แล้ว

    i did some macros on this myself and there's no way that this only has 27 carbohydrates in total. 60g of hershey chocolate chips alone is 36g of carbs. Add to that the peanut butter (around 20g of carbs) and the additional carbs from protein (8g of carbs using the macros for a protein powder with very low carbs) and you have a much higher carb content in total (around 64g of CHO) and I'm not even adding the CHO from the almond milk either. Oh and the liquid sweetener is overkill.

    • @yomiel1969
      @yomiel1969 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the macros are just for the PB base (no chocolate topping + coconut oil)
