In today's video I'm showing you how to replace the crackshaft position sensor in a 2011 GMC Acadia. This tutorial works on model years 2007-2017. this will usually cause a crank no start condition and you may think it's a fuel pump but in this situation it was a crankshaft position sensor or crank sensor

Everything like you said, bro! 👏 Only thing I’d add related to my specific issue: my starter would attempt but engine would not turn over. If it did, it would last about 2 seconds before sputtering out. Sprayed starter fluid into intake and that fired it up. Before the sensor replacement, I did the starter fluid and it would sputter out also. Hope this helps someone in the future!!! Made my day!!!

Please? I'm confused some people said under the engine next to the starter and on top by the fuse box and relay by the driver side windshield..
I had two mechanics replaced but the herror keeps coming,,
Or can you upload a picture of the location please?
I need to check and see if they really replaced but I didn't know wich one is it,

My 09 Acadia has a bracket attached to the transmission right in front of the bottom bolt on the heat shield. Is it ok to remove this bracket? Thank you.

On the Lamda Platform (Traverse, Acadia, Enclave), shutter while under load or going slowly up a hill is most likely the torque converter on the transmission. Another symptom, while driving on the flat, is the RPMs bobbing up and down and surging. According to my transmission guy, the torque converter is a common problem on these vehicles. I replaced spark plugs and coil packs, but my problem wasn't solved until I replaced the torque converter.

Nope camshaft is in the front of the engine there’s 4 total
