    “Kato Kaelin was a minor witness for the prosecution in the 1995 O. J. Simpson murder case. In 1994, he was staying in a guest house on Simpson's Rockingham estate and was present at the compound on the night of the two murders on June 12. He witnessed some of Simpson's movements before and after the time of the murders.”. Damn Norm is deep in this OJ business.

    The only problem with Norm on this is, he’s such a great poker player and getting reads off people, he was trying to do that to Regis the whole time, thinking Regis knew the answer but he didn’t know
    Norm had a read on Regis every time he’d say an answer and Regis would automatically ask “final answer?” he was always right on those… but Regis not knowing the answer and being scared Norm would get it wrong is why Norm just took the $500,000

    • @CommissionerSleer
      @CommissionerSleer ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, I feel a bit sorry for Regis. His concern was spot on: essentially, please don't gamble 500k on a 1 in 4 chance. You'll feel horrible if it's wrong. I remember watching this when it first aired back in 2000 and getting so mad when Regis talked Norm out of answering the million-dollar question. But he said years later that he felt Regis was trying to protect him. Norm had a reputation as a compulsive gambler, and had divulged during a commercial break that he had wagered 50k on the Notre Dame football game happening that day. Couple that with his really odd, esoteric process of coming up with answers, and I can understand why Regis was afraid of Norm taking a wild guess with that much of a charity's money on the line.

    The Kato joke was about him living in OJ's Pool house and a witness during the murders. And we know how much Norm has made fun of OJ.
    Surprised it was Joan making that first blatant joke after Norm said "he's known him about 15 years" When she said "He lives in his house"
    But she was not having it on the View lol. He was so smart he played dumb to perfection. He literally was making a joke that he knew the Eric Clapton answer from the start, he just had to waste his lifelines pretty much.

    Norm did such great comedy about Tempur-Pedic beds; it’s a shame he didn’t live long enough to joke about Raymour & Flanigan.

    Norm probably wasn't allowed to make a joke about it but Kato was at OJs house at a particular time Norm liked to frequently talk about.

    Growing up watching this I always thought Regis was out of touch. He was a fine man. RIP to them both

    Norm said that he thought Regis was giving him eye signals when he was right or wrong the whole time. That's why he didn't pull the trigger on the last question. But he definitely made himself the last contestant by failing the speed round everytime. It was calculated.

    Damn I would’ve been a millionaire I knew every one of those except for the broadway question and my mother would’ve known that one as she would’ve been my phone call lol

      This was a charity one though with celebrities, so they tended to ask easier questions.

    I don’t see it being said, but when norm did this I think only one person had ever won wwtbam. So when he got to the last question supposedly Regis was to guide him from the correct answer because they didn’t want a bunch of geniuses coming onto the show and losing then have a comedian show up and win.
    Don’t know if it’s true but it’s a popular rumor
