Great comedians say things funny.” I think the implication is that, a great comedian can make the most mundane statement hilarious just by saying it in a particular way. I can’t think of anyone who encapsulates that idea more than Norm MacDonald.
Norm comes off as if he is of average intellect but he was incredibly smart and chose words with great care that would elicit the "most funny." He was the absolute GOAT and I miss him more every day.

Norm was the greatest joker of all time I didn't matter who or where if he thought there was a joke there hed go for it so many cannot say the same and beyond that he had a code he lived by all the way until the end... Just watching hus face light up when he had a good one always makes any day better
