What a lovely thing to watch and listen to..three women talking openly and honestly and lovingly sharing a strong and loving bond that was plain to see..mum and daughters remembering times gone by...it moved me to tears thinking of myself as a parent of my three sons and also thinking of my five sisters and my own wonderful mum who died 3 years ago..how i loved her so much and how i still miss her and think of her often..i feel her love and strength guiding me forever now!
that really moved me. I always loved Janet Leigh. a brilliant actress, but the energy she radiated always seemed so apparent and genuine... this kinda proves it. Lovely upload. thank you.
I was always saddened at how much her ex Tony Curtis bashed her, but I think it is so wonderful how her daughters always idolized her and how much they respected her. Also I thought it was great when I had heard Jamie lee say that when she got married she had Tony walk her down half way. But her mothers 2nd husband walk her down the rest as from the time her mother married him in the early 60s he was there for her through everything.
Very touching and personal insight into Janet's home life. I found the card at the end very poignant, she was much loved and widely missed. Even in 2020 during Covid.
I disagree death is part of life so live in the moment. I lost my father at 16 and selfishly I would want more time but I'm blessed to really have had a great father. God gave me 16 yrs with him and they were WONDERFUL. I will NEVER let death take that away from me. What's tragic is if your parent is alive and you don't have a relationship with them.
@@mjohnson1741 I haven’t had a relationship with my mother, a covert malignant narcissist, for nearly 5 years. She was horrible to her family and never loved anyone but herself; she destroyed us all. I finally couldn’t take her abuse any more and these last years have, sadly, been the most peaceful of my life. You are lucky to have had good parents.
Yea that ending messed me right up because like millions of others who have lost both parents will understand you just won’t ever get that absolute unconditional love that you get from your mum! Jesus life can be so so cruel I swear. Not even fishing here for sympathy but ahhh man if you have your parents or even one I can’t stress enough how god dam lucky you are man! I’m in constant pain. And jealous of you all. Smh.
I write for a horror magazine in the UK. Psycho was the first horror movie I remember seeing, and Halloween and Jamie Lee is what really got me into horror.
TRIVIA: Janet leighs former husband and Jamie lee and kelly's Father Tony Curtis just months before his death cut out all 5 of his children out of his will leaving them all nothing ( without even giving an explanation why ) he had 6 children but lost a son at a young age from a heroin overdose ! He left everything to his latest wife who was half his age Truly awful state of affairs ! as people true colours always come out after their death ! incidentally Jerry Lewis pulled the same stunt ! 😢❤🙏
an der mutter kommen die töchter niemals in der nähe der Berühmtheit...jamie lee ist nur gut für filme mit einen Mittelmaß an können verlangt wird...so auf die art -ich bin die tochter von.....
woah...get's incredibly touching towards the end. Jamie and Kelly are very lucky to have had this captured on film with their late Mother Janet.

RUTH SMITH so very HAPPY that this was so far removed from the horror “Mommie dearest”. 😊
Now that's the kind of love and respect that has to be earned and can't be faked. ...a beautiful thing to see. Thank you!
Little did Jamie know that she would become one of the greatest people in the show business continuing Janet Leigh’s legacy

I think kelly is prettier
Jamie Lee later said that she didn’t feel that motherly love from Janet even though she loved her.
@@judithryle2113 We didn't need your opinion lol

So adorable.
Janet Leigh, my all time fav actress. I found this very humbling and moving.
Very touching ,wow beatiful familly
If Kelly Curtis had her own TV show, I would watch it! Probably the most underestimated actress in Hollywood.
Watching your idols and their famous parents is priceless...like Liza Minnelli and Judy Garland ❤️ bless their hearts and souls
I have no idols. God is my only idol and God Almighty
Very touching and personal insight into Janet's home life. I found the card at the end very poignant, she was much loved and widely missed. Even in 2020 during Covid.
this really touched me!
Kelly was really pretty, like a brunette 20 something year old version of Janet.
how sad is that Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis are both dead Jamie Lee and Kelly must feel lonely without their wonderful parents
Ppl do that all the time
Yeah, that's kind of how it works.

No one lives forever, death is apart of life...

5:30 Being orderly and clutter-free is a trait for success. No distractions. Ms. Leigh was wonderfully successful.
What is sweet smart intelligent family the ending was priceless so cute
Jamie Lee Curtis is one of my favourite actress’s and I loved the original psycho movie and how did I not know Jamie Leigh was her mother.

Their mother is a woman of beauty and elegance. Kelly looks more like their mom that Jamie. Shes like the brunette version.
Jamie is so talkative here 😂 can’t get a word in.
Beautiful connection ❤
Janet Leigh was what Grace Kelly would have wanted to be. In a class of her own. Peace to the World.
Kelly looks most like Janet and Jamie looks slightly more like Tony
