Who’s going to tell him that what he drove wasn’t a stock car in the beginning but an IMSA GT car?
This is the closest the game has so the nascar community has drawn to it in order to enjoy the nascar experience this game USED to have before Motorsport games stole the license.

That mercury is an IMSA car. So it never saw an oval.

But that was because of licensing.
This game just doesn't have it.
Also fun fact Forza Motorsport 3 was the first game to ever have NASCAR as a Gen 4
I remember that 6 and 7 had actual cup cars, and so did GT5 and GT6. Forza motorsport 3 had gen 4 stock cars

As someone who had Forza 6 with the NASCAR expansion pack I’m am very disappointed with this new Forza game in so many ways. Idk if it was kid nostalgia but Forza 6 was the shit. Also the game always took a decade to load.
What are we going to tell him about the fact that he forgot to turn penalties for collisions off and the fact he bought the wrong car. (It’s supposed to be the Oldsmobile in that one race day pack.)
i understand the idea behind the title of the video, but it should have been " *oval racing* is weird". there's no nascar in forza, the 1985 buick, the 1991 roush mustang and the oldsmobile you passed are trans-am cars, the 1990 mercury you raced is an imsa gto ; they weren't meant to be racing on ovals, most of them have never even seen one while they were raced (only the imsa gto did, because of the daytona 24h).
and, to be fair, oval racing has *always* been weird and broken in "generalist" games like forza and gran turismo ; like the aforementioned cars, that's not what they're built for.

I forgot if it’s motorsports 5 or 6 I think it was 6 but the graphics and gameplay to me are way better so maybe give one of those two a try.
I've had a blast with this new Forza Motorsport. The online multiplayer is great racing if you have a good safety rating and skill rating with new cars and tracks being introduced monthly!

The imsa cars make great oval cars if you know how to tune them. Just like every single car in the game is good on ovals IF YOU KNOW HOW TO TUNE FOR OVALS..

The blurryness is probable becuase of DLSS or TAA. Always use MSAA2x looks 10 times better

If you drive with driving aids. It is also not a simulation driving behavior of the car !!! I think Forza Motorsport is great. And it's designed for a very long time. There will be a lot more tracks to come. There are better NASCAR cars in the game. All in all one of the top 5 racing games !!!

Well there’s no actual nascar cars in forza but we make do. And after you play it for a bit it will make sense how to set up different liveries and such.

The last good Forza game was Motorsport 6. 5 was the first “next gen” Xbox one game and felt lacking. 6 had great UI, music and content. 7 became too gimmicky and alienated the fan base for being “off.”
They continued the trend in the wrong direction with this. (Which SHOULD be called Motorsport 8 🤦♂️)
I can’t believe that IMS is so bad in this game. FM7 and PC2 had way better versions of IMS years ago. The banking and entrance/exit in the turns are abysmal. I have no idea how this was approved and shipped

So to say Watkins is the best road course. That's a fantasy with snow flurries. As America, it's understandable. Nordschleife is the best track in the world !!! Spa and many others are better. Watkins is good. But let's leave the church in the village !!!

You don't say to be honest i find what the creators did was sacralage playing this game since launch but the 1980's Monte Carlo exists and some older stock car bodies but beyond that ATM its not worth playing since your just driving trans am cars on an oval though horizon 5 does have a 4th Gen Toyota Camry body you can put a V8 into and have roof numbers
There's no way forza is made by racing fans plus all those damn cones on the racing surface.....just as I'm typing that radman said the same thing about the cones 😂😂😂

as a person who played this game at launch, it is hot garbage. Its on par with Motorsport 5 with being one of the worst forza entries in the entire franchise. Forza 6 or 7 is better for Nascar IMO
You don’t need to purchase the rousch car - if you play the game. Also Dale was in the 15 before his RCR days. For a NASCAR fan your knowledge is not that great.

Yea this games bad. The graphics for 4k are bad, the ai in single player are horrible to race against ( or atleast they were at launch ) online racing is terrible you maybe have one or two people actually trying to race whole the rest are if you pass them they're slamming into full speed when taking a corner the grind sucks having to level up your car to unlock performance parts a horrible game not even worth downloading for free on gamepass. It was to compete with iracing but I don't think it can compete with nascar 21
The current motorsport is trash. Try Gran Turismo 7. There's oval racing in online races quite often. You've played it once, you can try it again

Because of the non-skippable tutorial. I am on PC and it took that long as well. I played for like 15 minutes and then uninstalled it lol.

Tbh Radman, GT7 isn't in that much better of a state. The tire model is garbage, hopefully, the update improves it, the online Daily races are almost always bad with no strategy, and the BOP in Gr1 (Lmp1 cars, Group C cars etc...) and Gr2 (GT500 and DTM cars) is bad it makes so few cars in those categories viable online.
Honestly, the console racing experience is not good right now, especially with the handling model with F1 24

@itskaspahoe7161 Not you want to race anything other than GT3 cars. I do plan on buying Acc as it is on sale right now and it'sa good game, but there still needs to be more official console racing games. There isn't an Indycar, WEC/Imsa, or Nascar game on console right now, not good ones anyway.
FH4 Is way Better cause you can get the 88 Monte Carlo and the Lego DLC has a oval track shaped like darlington

I don't know, I think Forza might have GT7 beat with the multi-player. There are problems with it that the devs seem to just refuse to even talk about
Don't get me wrong I clocked in more hours playing GT7, but each game has its own set of issues.

The real promblem is
1. You probably haven't played Forza if you think the game is boring and bland. The envirorments alone in Forza is more alive compared to Gt Gameplay is subjective, depends on what physics you're accustomed to.
2. Your a fanboy who can't give any fair comparison or opinion. Both games have their strength and weaknesses.
3. It's not like you can trust Polyphony as well, they are also sketchy with micro transactions.
