- The Ginetta G40 has finally come to Forza motorsport, and it has quickly become my favorite little race car. As expected when you fill a lobby full of them the racing gets rather good.

Clio cup cars when
As in low PI cars? I much prefer just any vintage or classic car
Oh yeah, I think top of my list would be a Spec Racer Ford. They look kinda like baby Can Am cars so would be great for cute vintage liveries.
Would also be awesome to see stuff like Clio Cup, Ligier JS2 R, GR86 Cup, Radical SR1, maybe some kind of CN prototype like a Wolf, and a Citroen C1 in C1RC enduro spec.
I'd also love some smaller race tracks to suit these little cars. Knockhill, Oulton Park, many would say Tsukuba, Ring Knutstorp, etc. I'd also love Cadwell Park but sadly it would pretty useless for anything much bigger than the Ginettas, so hard to make a case for it I think.

I don't usually share my liveries outside of league events so I'm not used to seeing them pop up in the wild so it was a cool surprise to see it here, thanks for giving it some screen time.
@AXIDNT66 hahaha no problem! I won the other two races with it but Alex didn't use them :( I love the livery, I was going to make one myself until I found yours!

I think if you shifted at red line you'd gain about 2 tenths a lap. You can see it when watching someone pull up to you. They shift at redline and drop back slightly and then pull past as you shift. They are gaining time by shifting at redline.

You are so right! My friends and I have been having an absolute blast in these cars and we also said they are hands down the best racing we have ever had on Forza!! I too am part of sausage roll and steak bake racing 😂

Can recommend to upgrade with race Restrictor plate and tires so you can add a tire strategy!

Was very nice to take part in my first vstc even if i wasn't that quick, atleast i wasn't completely slow and had people to race against

Annoyingly by the time I figured out the car I had already fallen out of the podium places. and then messed up my chance to overtake with that bump.

try 1st gear just before the apex for a split sec. for rotation and then back up to 2nd gear.
generally 2nd gear should be fine I think.
The giraffe is not anywhere near as important at Brands Hatch? I'd say not; I didn't see a single one! Although, poking out of a sunroof, that would be a sight to behold.
I can hear what you’re doing with the controller when you're trying to turn the car into a corner. I used to drive this way as well and couldn’t figure out why I was losing so much time on each lap, so what I discovered is a technique that helps improve this.
- Treat the joystick like a steering wheel. Think of it like the way you turn your car in real life.
- You don’t grab the steering wheel, turn it to 3 o’clock, then let it go back to 12 o’clock, and jerk it again to 3 o’clock to make a turn.
- So try and avoid jerking the joystick as far as it will go to one side and then having to correct mid-corner because the car is turning too far in.
- Increase the sensitivity on the controller slightly ( it will help to increase feedback and input as you enter turns)
- Move your thumbs very slowly as you turn the car. ( Try to avoid moving the joystick as far as it will go as you begin turning)
- Now instead of "jerking" that "wheel" mid corner ,simply hold the position or angle of the joystick where you have it as the car is entering or in mid-turn. as the car straightens out, just move the joystick again slowly back to center.
This will mimic a steering wheel input and you'll notice with time that you wont even need to hold the joysticks all the way in a direction to get the car to turn. I've also noticed with my driving, I can more consistently pick up the braking points before each turn because I know the car Im driving will hold in the corner better and it won't cause such a herky jerky turn... youll also appreciate this technique when your racing side by side into a turn and you can hold your line better than the other guy!!!
I think what you're hearing is not the steering, but Alex manually shifting.
It definitely sounds more like a button press than the joystick.
Also, I'd think in the 10 years that he's been making racing game videos he would know how to handle a controller.
If you're paying attention, you can hear that exact same clicking when Alex is just going along the straights without steering.
The clicking is not steering related.
As a life long keyboard player, who is relative new to a controller, that's exactly what I do. :D
Your advice should help get me a better cornering and to get rid of that "digtal 0-1" habit. Thanks a lot.

Just use Auto, the car has more power at 4.5k rpm than 6500 rpm!
Alex why don't you usually do what you usually do which is let the person behind you get in front of you so you can draft from them And then you slingshot ahead and they draft from you and they slingshot ahead and you draft from them that's what you usually do when you're in a situation like this you bootstrap each other until you catch the leaders and then you try and pass them why didn't you do that this time? is she do it a few times before Successfully and unsuccessfully but Alicia gives you a chance
I think that works far better on GTA5 due to its unrealistically high slipstream whereas Forza's is more realistic.
You seem to downshift too much. Coming out of corners on the limiter isn't good for traction. Try staying in the higher gear and getting on it sooner
