The amount that truck buckled down was absolutely outrageous. Those are some stout chains/straps holding that thing down. I cant believe it didn't spin on the rollers.

    • @havingfun8192

Looks like when the truck rolled down the rollers it made the rear straps pull that much harder and helped it not spin.

I’m surprised that the roller dyno could handle that much power. I’m sure there was some spray glue on the tires to keep it from just blowing the tires off of the truck. The amount of torque that it produces to make it move that much is insane. I’d like to see the truck on a hub dyno to see how much it moves. The amount of power that truck puts out it would be almost impossible to keep it planted on any dyno. Great job guys! Much respect. Keep us posted on the next time it hits the track! There numbers would have been higher if they weren't on.

No. They used the brakes to build boost. During the actual time the power is measured they were not on the brakes. Common procedure on the dyno to build more boost.

@@cole1407 you can easily enlighten yourself by watching the video about it on firepunks channel. It’s a cast block, justin also mentions it shortly after this run. If this video didn’t cut off you would have heard that, as well as who built it.
