Would like to see the x32 using the dante port to send the mix to a network switch for other devices to access. So maybe the streaming machine or maybe to p16 for the musicians
How about different rack mounted cases for the x32 producer? I'm trying to find a portable solution for my small band that is half the size of a mighty gig rig. It's a fantastic board, but not being able to find a case with 4U underneath the mixer has been such a headache. I'm ready to return it for something else at this point
@@NURREDIN Hey there! I may need a bit more information on your entire setup to properly answer this question, but yes you should be able to do overdubs in most any recording situation. It's amazing that these boards are still going strong 13 years after their initial release. I don't know what my musical life would have been like for the last decade+ without them.
Definitely a great feature. Like to record live shows to the card then later to do the mix, play the card back into the DAW, just like you were recording the band live again. And you can do it as often as you like. Really an underated feature.
X32 rack is perfect for indie film composers , or small studio music production, I have 12 channels of XLR, TRS stereo in for synths, recording guitars, 3 stereo out for two external effects loops and sending audio to samplers such as MPC, iridium, low latency, it’s a great value when you compare it to Motu, and other similar mid high end audio cards for those not married to A large ProTools system I don’t think you can find that many inputs and outputs at this price point or close,
Would have been great if the video had included advice for choosing an appropriate USB stick. I'm assuming the top USB slot is USB 2.0 like the card, yes? So even if you bought some expensive/fast USB 3- compatible stick, it wouldn't be able to take advantage of that.
wondering if anyonre has a solution for my issue. I use a usb thumdrive to record and it always stops recording and the files become 0 bytes. How can i fix this?
Hey, Abco! Great question, yes you can! As long as you have the routing set up properly you can track to your DAW and simultaneously record to USB as a backup, for example. Hi Randy, good question! The X32, while being able to track all of the tracks to an SD card, is not designed to be a stand-alone production machine. If you are trying to send and receive for over dubs, you will need to hook it up to a computer via USB. If you do need a stand-alone tracking mixer, you should look at the Tascam Model series, which do have the ability to overdub, punch in, etc. If you want to dig deeper, give me a call! Drake Sobehrad, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 3271, drake_sobehrad@sweetwater.com
Hey there! Yes, the features on the X32 rack unit are the same as the features on the standard X32. The only real difference is you don’t have the physical faders on the X32 rack - other than that, they have the same capabilities! I hope this helps. Nick Pasquino, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 3230, nick_pasquino@sweetwater.com
I have my Routing>Card Outputs set to Local 1-8 etc on my x32, and my DAW (Cubase 12 Pro) set to the X-USB audio device with corresponding inputs and outputs set properly. I'm recording audio just fine into my DAW. Windows audio device is set to Out 1-8 (Behringer). But I'm still not getting any playback through Mon L/R or Headphones. Any advice?

Hey there! It depends on exactly how you’re going to be recording your mixes. Are you using USB? Or are you sending through analog outputs into an external recorder? Either way, you shouldn’t have any issues choosing the same “record” output for both the Mains and your Matrix mix. There are a TON of resources online explaining this type of routing. Otherwise, give us a call and we’d be more than happy to help out! Nick Pasquino, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 3230, nick_pasquino@sweetwater.com
Hey, sj0024. You can absolutely multitrack record 16 XLR and 6 Aux channels simultaneously. You will need to set the output of the channels you want to record to the USB card or USB thumbdrive by inserting a formatted USB drive and pressing the view control. You can assign any source directly to record there and recall it later through the X32 or transfer it over to your favorite DAW via USB for post processing! Thanks for the interest! Nathaniel DeRusha, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 3541, nathaniel_derusha@sweetwater.com

Definitely worth it. I went with the compact over the full x32. I combine it with a S-16 stage box if I need the extra 16 inputs / 8 outs. Also have an x32 Rack (also a great item). Lets me put the S-16 and x32Rack in a small format rack, place it on stage for 32 inputs. Use a 100Ft CAT5 on a spool back to the X32 Compact over the builtin Ultranet. Plus they all can be run from an ipad or the mac or windows desktop app.

a lot of people talk crap about Behringer, but they produce high quality stuff at a much cheaper price!!!
Behringer = underrated 🤦♂️
Really great gear. Very professional. And a great video too, thanks 🤘
Can’t decide between the X32 and M32. Both are so easy to use!
Midas has better preamps imo
Go with the Midas hands down
Go with X32 Compact + DL32 if you want Midas preamp and save some money. Or M32R LIVE + DL32
If you’re trying to save on cost, you can go with the X32 and get the DL32 for your I/O. You’ll still get the Midas preamp sound

I'm trying to decide between the x32 and the 32sx. any ideas?
so we have the X32 producer and the audio sort of stops sometimes for 5 secs or longer when recording onto a usb flash. How can I solve this issue?
Drive must be usb 2.0 no larger then 32 gig.
How would work with a tascam cr re9001sl
I wouldn’t.
Can I track on a c32 producer? In otherwords, can I lay a guitar track down, then play it back and add a separate bass track and do on?
