    You know you don't have to go through manually rerouting the whole thing every time you need to switch from Recording to Playback mode, right? (Everything you did starting at 9:00) You can just use the rightmost Encoder on the Routing / Input page to change the settings from Recording to Play and then press the Encoder to actually make the switch.

      I do know about that, but didn't when I recorded the video. oops. Also, It's nice to know the logic of the routing for recording & playback. -Nathan R

      @@CrazyAmazingDesigns yeah, this button seems to be some sort of an undocumented new addition. Even in the official User Manual, on page 38, there’s a screenshot of the Routing/Home screen, and this button ain’t on it.

    OH THAAATT'S WHAT THE DANTE CARD DOES!!! Thank you for this!! Because i was really lost on why this Dante card seemed to be so revolutionary... and expensive. Lol.

    10:30 fun fact: you can also send audio via network with a USB-Cat adapter such as a Silex Printserver. You are bound to one device there too, but you are not limited to any USB cable lenghts. My console is in another room as my recording Computer and that works without any problems for 3 years now. The console is then available in the network and you can connect to it as it was plugged in your PC :) btw: it even works wireless but I wouldn't recommend using that in production :D

    at 9:25, instead of changing manually to card inputs, I think you can change from Record to Play using the far right hand knob.

    Hey Nathan, firstly thanks for a great video! I thought I try this multitrack recording on GarageBand and managed to record all 32 tracks, however, when switching back to playback on the x32 and playing back from the multitrack recording the x32 only plays back on channel 1&2… 😅
    Any tips on what I might be doing wrong? Again, great video! 🙌🏻

      Hi, Inside of Garage Band, You will need to select the X-USB as the output Audio interface for playback to the X32. Then for each recorded track, you can assign them to output channels 1-32, this will cause them to playback on there corresponding channels on the x32. Assuming you changed the INPUT tab from Local and Stage Box inputs to now receive audio from Card 1-32. -Nathan

    Hi Nathan, thank you for the video. I managed to record 32 multitracks into my laptop with only a usb cable(printer cable) on M32. But lately the USB started to loose sync with the mixer. Any tips for using it without an expansion card? Thank you.

    • @CrazyAmazingDesigns
      @CrazyAmazingDesigns  15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi, I have always found that USB connection to be pretty solid, I'm not sure why it would be going in and out like that. I would make sure the card is tight, maybe remove the two screws, pull the card from the m32 and re-seed it. Then secure the screws again and see if that helps. There is no X-USB without the expansion card. You could replace the card with another card, but the Card is the Interface connection. -Nathan

    My playback is terrible with pops, clicks and crackles. Records fine but sending back to the mixer sounds awful now we can't livestream church service😢.

    We currently record through Ableton on a computer. However, we would like to have a back up recording by using a flash drive in the usb port on the Behringer x32.The flash drive we used previously was a Kingston 32gb high performance usb 3.2 and the recording would skip or "pause", so chunks of audio would be missing. Do we need a different flash drive or is it something in the settings on the Behringer?

      I have had these problems in the past with the x32, The USB stick needs to be under 32GB and Formatted to FAT32. Try formatting it and see if it works better. I regularly use a Kingston 32gb USB stick to record via USB. -Nathan R

      The only time I’ve not seen XUSB show up, there was an issue in setup-> global, Sample Rate/ and click source. At the top of the screen, I believe I had red on the AES50 or card connection. -Nathan R, Email me and I can help further.

    Can I find such multi-track recordings somewhere on the Internet so that I can play them on my x32?

    • @CrazyAmazingDesigns

      Yes, MultiTracks.com is a great place to purchase Worship MultiTracks. Other than that, Recording a Sunday Service and playing with playback from that is the next best option. -Nathan
