I've had a B9 RS4 for nearly 4 years now as my daily and it's a great all-rounder. Practical and surprisingly comfortable when you want to be civilised, and seriously capable when you go into hooligan mode. (You can map the drive select to the steering wheel btw; makes it a lot easier to use). Great review, guys, you got a good feel for the car really quickly. That 4.1 seconds to 100km/h is pretty conservative, I reckon it'll do 3.8 pretty comfortably. Thinking of getting mine tuned next year which should drop it down to the low 3s, which is pretty insane for a station wagon!
@@sundaymorningdrives minor niggles, nothing major so far (touch wood). Squealing brakes at very low speed. A little bouncy when cold, sometimes. Occasionally the gearbox gets a bit confused in comfort mode and doesn't shift up when you expect it to. Little things and the pros are way ahead of the cons as far as I'm concerned!
very nice. This car won't go wrong in any situation. However, I think we are all too used to the Audi design cue, been around for so long that I think we can almost think it's boring. On the other hand, the M3 Touring style is quite a lot more interesting than this RS4, But hey, it's unchanged cause it's so good and so perfect, I guess. Good review!
@@sundaymorningdrives Yes, somehow it works on the Touring. And come to think of it, I kind of accepted the normal M3 and M4 one as well. I guess it's not a love at first sight kind of thing.
Really waiting on a good deal for one atm - want to trade in my B9 S4 Avant, but couldn't find a spec that I want (pano sunroof + black optics). Also that pre-sense warning thought the parked car in front was in your lane, quite normal.
Yup, the pre collision warning is quite sensitive, but my Type R has that as well, should probably have turned it off before our drive. Good luck with finding one that you like, it's a brilliant car for sure

That's seriously quick for a practical family car, faster than a lot of supercars out there! Anything future owners need to look out for?

@Badcrumble ok, nothing serious, that's great. I guess that's Audi quality right?
I don't know about cars at all but You talk about it with real passion :D
Thanks!! We do love cars 😊

I thought you didn't like the big noes in the new M3? Haha.
But the stance of the new M3 is really aggressive though.

I think it's like that almost every time with the new M3, takes a while to get used to the styling
Love the Audi RS4 and love NZ! Cheers!
Thanks stay tuned for more NZ roads 😊
Nice car I don't know much about cars but I like Audi . Keep it up!

Informative review. Very keen on this car.
Thank you, glad you liked our review, it is an amazing vehicle.
Looks like a good daily driver
It definitely is, and it's got plenty of performance too.
Very cool guys!
