@ Very interesting car. I've driven the V6 version on track a few times and loved they way it felt through the corners/etc... The i4 engine is very interesting though, a lot of tuning potential with that AMG unit.

@DanielSadjadian yes, I felt that the V6 Engine is a bit more special, sounds better as well, but the i4 definitely has more upgrade potential. The auto gearbox probably makes the car quicker on track too 😆

Haha, ya man, the car is BIG! But now a days all modern cars are pretty big 😆

@jaydee7537 ya... cuz now a days there are too much different specs across different ranges and they also differ from country to country, so it's best to speak a dealer before your purchase to ensure you are getting what you want.

@@sundaymorningdrivesI drive it often even for work. The reason I bought it was as an all purpose practical car that looks great and drives great with all creature comforts. Love to track it one day.

@ no I haven’t driven it more than 50k at a stretch

@ G70’s little sibling! You get the best of both worlds with this machine, pure luxury and pure sport when you need it. It looks like it’s moving even if it’s standing still with the boldness.

@pleaseletitgo1818 yes, agree, and although it's heavy, but BMW did do a good job hiding it, and it's packed with technology. Not a pure driver's car for sure, but a great luxury high performance sedan

Yes, I think that is the reason for most people who chooses the touring. But it does loose a bit of its elegance when the electric wing rises at higher speed though.

I prefer a sunroof a carbon roof is not gonna make me go that much faster or slower and I’m not racing

@kcw9313 well, driving a car with and without an engine are very different experiences, some people might not like pure ev's, and hybrid might be a good option for them. BMW took this exact M5 that I reviewed to the track, and an instructor drove it for a few laps, it's actually quicker than some sportscars, means the M5 is a capable "trackable" car, but you are right, most owners probably won't take it to the track.

@RaceCarFriends doesn't look bad in the flesh, weight is an issue but BMW has done a decent job hiding the weight.

@ryshask I don't think Emira is too big compared to most of the other modern sportscars, it's the Exige that is very small (the right size)

@@odiatoka it has front axle lift, so I haven't really had an issue with clearance. But the ride is very firm, so it's not very comfortable as a daily

@odiatoka if you just want a daily driver, then the GTS is going to be a better choice, it has back seats as well, more fuel efficient, and more torque

I drove the Type S briefly, and it definitely felt more capable than my standard AP2, it felt flatter in corners, handled better, and gave the driver more confidence going quicker 🙂

@1guarino congratulations! $800 over is not that bad, it's an amazing truck, just a bit of a petrol guzzler though, haha
