    fantastic, would you be able to describe the process in making the ornamental model in zbrush?

    • @ArtruismDigital
      @ArtruismDigital  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Of course. simple base mesh in Maya, dynamesh and sculpt in zbrush, zremesh to get a proper low res, project the high res. uv low res in zbrush. export low res and high res from zbrush for substance baking.

    Substance supports UDIMS?

    • @ArtruismDigital
      @ArtruismDigital  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It sort of does. It's treating each UDIM as its own object. Can't paint across UDIM tiles yet.

    How much longer would it take you to do the whole asset in Mari, without using painter at all?

    • @ArtruismDigital
      @ArtruismDigital  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      What kind of asset?

      Get a decent edge mask is probably the time consuming part without painter, also have to render with Arnold to see the effect of the texture will take longer, but still, it's a simple asset so two days should be enough.
