    Great video! I love the way you explain how you work. Thanks! Also that match color adjustment in photoshop seems like a pretty quick way to get a detailed texture so thanks :)

    make a tutorial like in mari foyndry to make photo-realistic facial skin textures full sss for arnold render, I often see it on an art station,I’ve been looking for this tutorial for a long time but on TH-cam there isn’t, they only offer a photo scan to design for the object

    Great tutorial as always, like your texturing style. Do you have any tutorial how how you create your textures in Photoshop, the initial setup and dimensions before importing into Substance Painter?

    • @ArtruismDigital
      @ArtruismDigital  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      check out the first video from the mari hard surface texturing play list, I explained how to make any image into a tileable texture.

    Could an asset like this, be good for a Student/Junior Texture Artist demo reel?
    Thanks a lot for all the knowledge you always share with us! :)

    • @ArtruismDigital
      @ArtruismDigital  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is a piece I made mostly for art expression, not practical. Real porcelain will never have grunge like that.
      Whenever people ask me what demo reel they need to make, they need to give me more information.
      Are you going for a film job? game job? animation job?
      How much experience do you have with cg? what kind of art bg do you have?
      With asset like this that you pretty much have to design, sculpt and concept the whole thing, I wouldn't recommend people that are still new to this to make it for their demo reel.

    When you re-baked the mesh with new geometry, was it only the normal map you did the base mesh too?

    Hi, how come your disk cashe uses only 31% mine 97 what should I do?

    • @squishybluecat
      @squishybluecat 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The disc cache show in substance painter just shows how much space you have on your drive, so if your cache space is high you might want to free up some space.

    So right now you can use udim in substance painter?

    • @ArtruismDigital
      @ArtruismDigital  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can, but it doesn't work like Mari and you can't paint across Udim yet.

    • @aldoferdian6039

      Any tips to hide uv cut seam, yours is so good i cant find any seam in there 😁

    • @ArtruismDigital
      @ArtruismDigital  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@aldoferdian6039 the key is not to hand paint around the seams, if you use procedure and use tri planer, most likely you can hide them. sometime you can't.
