  • Hello, welcome to Sherri’s Heavenly Apothecary, I’m Sherri. Today I’m going to teach you how to make all-natural solid body butter bars, aka massage bars. These solid body bars are great for massaging into any area of your skin that needs extra TLC. They are especially great for dry areas like feet; cracked heels, elbows, chapped, cracked skin, or just to massage on after a shower for an extra dose of hydration. You can customize the butters and oils to sit your preferences and make a tailor-suited body butter bar for your skin needs!
Here is the recipe as promised:
    Heated Phase:
    25%/1 oz - Beeswax
    25%/1 oz - Butters - I used shea/mango/cocoa
    25%/1 oz - Coconut oil
25%/1 oz - Jojoba oil - can use any oil you choose (olive, avocado, grapeseed etc.)
    Cool Down Phase/Additives:
1/8 tsp - Purple Brazilian clay
    1/8 tsp - Arrowroot powder
30 drops - Lavender essential oil
    5-6 drops Vitamin E Oil
Melt the oils and butters in a double boiler. Let cool until 160* then add the cool down phase additives. Be sure the powders get blended in well. Pour int molds and let set up. You can place them in the refrigerator for an hour to speed up the process.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. You may need to place in the refrigerator if temperatures are high.
Directions for use: massage into your skin wherever you need extra moisture (I like to massage on my feet and put my socks on over it before bed - makes my feet feel amazingly soft!). You will need to give the butter/oil a minute to soak into your skin, so please be patient, your skin will thank you!
I do not sell body butter bars in my online shop at this time.

I love it and I like the idea of solid cream, well I like either cream or solid, but I was looking for something like this one most. Thanks for sharing your recipe. ❤
