Hi Felipe. Great video! I only recently discovered you and the jazz bums! I consider myself a Jazz bum too, being a jazz vinyl collector since 2009! Congrats on completing your TP collection (for now!). I still need few of the earlier ones, like Nigeria and Chet B. sings. According to one major online vinyl retailer here in Switzerland, Nigeria was repressed and it will be released on December 1st 2022! Let’s hope that this is true! I own many BN & Prestige (and other) OGs, but I also collected some MMJ releases. Now it is TP and the classic series, and of course all the Craft Recordings and Acoustic Sounds releases. My bank account is screaming at me, as it is being steadily, but surely depleted! 😁 Looking forward to your next videos! Cheers! 👍

I really love the covers, they are works of art. I have them all too - they are amazing. Money Jungle is a favourite though I've yet to hear Katanga. Looking forward to spinning that one!

Great presentation. Hoping my pre order of Introducing will materialize soon as it was postponed 2 times already. My guess is that the pressing plans were busy doing the blue trains. Really looking fwd when chet sings wil fet a new run. I started blue note in cd in 2018 and turned into vinyl for jazz to late to get music matters when they came up. Do not understand that these never will be tone poets. Hard policy for one just start building his collection at a reasonable price.
This is a fantastic record. A personal favorite for me that Burrell is. MMJ is a dream sounding type of record, my personal favorites. I understand you will to get great titles as TPs, but the classic series will eventually have them at great prices. F
Really enjoyed this Felipe. A fellow white kallax owner myself. 😎 That Kenny Burrell release (Introducing) is what sold me on the Tone Poet series & all-around quality. Wish I had jumped on some of the first releases sooner (like that Chet release). Here’s hoping the rumored reissues are in fact going to happen 🤞🏻

@@JazzBums I have been a Pat Metheny fan for decades, so I am biased. This is a jazz guitar workout for two masters. The package, et. al is up to their standards. Each style of jazz is different, Metheny and Frisell have a more modern approach, and some have a challenging time with them.

What would be reasonable price for secondary market? Because it's seems like some of this tone poet will not be repressed. Like Nigeria or born to be blue
It is sooo good. My copy has a pressing defect I did not notice until I had it for a few months. Whenever it gets repressed I will buy another one. - Chris

They seemed to have pressed far less of Nigeria and Chet Baker Sings than many other TP releases, which is hard to understand. For example, 2606 registered Nigeria on Discogs compared to 4319 Born to be Blue. 2387 registered Chet Baker Sings compared to 4170 Chant.
