The R is for racing, the X is fully ADR&road registrable with lighting, speedo, indicators and a compliance plate. Mechanically in 09 the differences are a different engine all together, with the R being EFI, and the X still carbie fed.
I see the bike has turn signals, mirrors, and a plate.Does it come with the street stuff over in Australia? Are those Honda parts? I"m thinking of buying one and making it street legal. If honda already makes the parts that would be a lot easier for me. Thanks
@xr1oor yes you can, check out the pdf in this link for apprived bikes in NSW on Learners rta.nsw.gov.au/licensing/tests/motorcycleridertrainingscheme/motorcyclesnoviceriders.html the CRF450x is on that list :) (i plan to get one soon and road reg it)
the X does not have a speedo. the only thing it has is a headlight and tail light (no brake light). and the X does not share one single part with the R except for the piston

@77toyota-Its 200m not 400 like it should be so double the time. Because 1600m = 1mile lol
i would get one of these if i was a motorbike macanic because of all the maintenance four strokes have

1 MILE IS 1,600METERS, THEREFORE, A QUARTER MILE, WILL BE AND FOREVER WILL BE,,, 400METERS. AMEN.
Im sure they mean 1/8 mile, cant put an offroad bike on a 1/4 mile since they will hit top speed before half way.

They should make a crf150x
that actually sounds sick
Wat a ripper I'm taking my 450x to the drag strips now they run sub 9s 😂😂 gsxr 1000 can stay in garage now, 😂😂
that 1/4 mile is wrong for sure
Australia is the BEST f*ckin country in the world!!
