Just bought this unit. Very few instructions in the booklet particularly about the water filter. This video is really awesome and covers everything one could imagine brewing on this machine.
Just inherited a used Keurig K-Supreme Plus and this was very helpful...especially all of the info about the My K-Cup universal filter! Perfect, concise and very clear instructions...Thank you so much! Very much appreciated!
thank you so much. I just inherited this model after my mother passed last week. Do you have a video on how to descale this? I want to give it a thorough cleaning before using it.
Great video fun and informative, superbly done. Your coffee maker videos are the best, love the temperature test and taste test and times are greatly appreciated.
I purchased the K-Supreme version but returned it because it sprayed coffee everywhere. I've had several Keurig machines and I've never had a problem with them. I use reusable pods because I care about the environment.
I just bought this machine for my parents. They have filtered water so I’m not gong to use the provided filter. My question for you please, after using this machine for one year do you see any rust in the recevoir? I noticed the are 4 small metal screws . I’m concerned that it’s not healthy to drink the water with those screws inside the water recevoir… your thoughts please?
Hi, you can get the descaling kit from Keurig: amzn.to/48AveET or fill reservoir with half vinegar/half water. Run until add water light comes on. Let rest for 30 minutes. Wash out reservoir, fill with water and run a few cycles until water has no taste of vinegar 😀
i always enjoy & appreciate your keurig reviews. i bought my first keurig in 2014 which was the k-10 mini plus which you did review. will you be able to please review the new keurig k-supreme plus smart brewer? thank you very much.
I just bought this, have had it less than a week, and when I brew a cup it sounds exactly like your review in the beginning. Is it supposed to sound like that? Seems excessive
I want to get four reusable K-Cups for my K-Supreme Plus machine - two for decaf and two for regular. If I buy Keurig reusable K-Cups they are approx $11/ea, but aftermarket ones are cheaper. Can you recommend aftermarket reusable K-Cups that work well in the K-Supreme Plus machine?
Have the K-Supreme Plus and first descale; the unit will not power on. It seems like there is an ongoing issue with this unit. It worked fine for a while and the descale light came on. I kept using the brewer with the descale light on because we have whole house filtered water I decided to purchase the Keurig Descale kit and followed all directions but unit just shut off and will not come back on. It seems that is an internal thermal reset switch that once pushed will allow the unit to brew again but it is tough to get into.
Alternate machine and ways of use to follow. Don't take any of this wrong... I'm guessing here but I have to imagine that about 5% of those K-cups actually get recycled. I would love to see as in some states with soda cans they ask for a deposit on the cups and get your money back when they are returned. I recently purchased the Hamilton Beach 49987 "The Scoop single serve coffee maker 8-14 oz" choice of normal or bold. It has the 40 oz tank but that is not an issue as I just replace with filtered water each time I use it with the flip top container which is removable if you so desire. The "Scoop" is designed much like the the K-cup in look and feel but can only be used with grounds. It does have a double filter design for sediment. It's easier it looks to clean then the K-cup ground (Zero plastic waste) alternative usage. The Hamilton makes a good strong cup of coffee or a lighter one if you prefer. As an Eco friendly solution the K-cup could be redesigned to be much like the pod system (drop in a fiber pouch). I'm not a total tree hugger but K-cups are a waste of hard earned money and resources. Dr. Pepper get this idea redesigned! :) . I thought Europe was behind this but they are innocent. Good review as always I just disagree with the premise of these machines.
I bought this machine may 15 ..for the money I paid for this machine..it’s garbage….the coffee is barely warm…the extra strength is useless ..no difference in strength of brewed coffee…save your money..very disappointed
@@SandyzSerious I personally like the flavored coffee beans, I do have a Capresso Infinity Conical Burr Grinder, Black 8.8 oz goes for around 96 bucks. My main stay has been Door County coffee and tea company, Wisconsin company. Chocolate Cherry, Peanut butter crunch and Raspberry truffle are the favorites. I buy five pounds at a time. The price is around 55 although it was 49 a couple of weeks ago. I decided to try another outlet being "Coffee bean direct" and ordered and have 5 pound of sea salt caramel mocha, no verdict yet as I have not tried it but it does smell good. 44 for this 5 pound version. Beans last a good long time. 4 to five months ( Connoisseurs will tell you differently but a 2000 dollar bottle of wine tastes the same as a 10 dollar bottle) . I drink one cup a day but the other two in the home drink two. I did also invest in vacuum canisters to keep the coffee beans fresher longer. Just some thoughts.
@@elainejan Well, the difference would be great between the old circular pod system and a potential triangular funnel type as known to be with the Keurig system (without the plastic). Drop in funnel type netted with fiber but then again better to try the Hamilton version with the easily cleanable screen. I have many versions that I purchased on a whim to try and make the finest of coffees but they sit on a shelf for experimentation some day. More to do in life then make coffee so for us lazy people easier with less, much less waste is better in my book. The Hamilton 49987 does fit the bill, lessor of a bill :) . You basically get to try it for free and if disappointed send it back but I don't think you would be. The unit is currently 76 bucks on Amazon.

I have not seen a more professional review in my whole TH-cam viewing time. Thanks!

Excellent video. The Kuerig rep told me to go to TH-cam. This is the shortest and best video. Thanks
Glad you liked it 😀
My Grandpa has had this Keurig since January and he loves it!😁☕ He says the multi stream technology makes a difference in the taste of the coffee 😃
Thanks for sharing, Ethan 😃
Thank you for the demonstration. I couldn’t find a user guide in the box!
You're welcome!

No, sorry. But you can buy the descaling solution that comes with instructions: amzn.to/47iBzDH

How do you use the descaler? Just put a mix of vinegar and water in the reservoir?

How to descale this specific unit would also be useful.
Great review thanks!
You’re welcome 😉
Super helpful thank you!
Thank you for the great video
You left the red seal in , it must be removed for this machine
I was just going to say that but you beat me to it. 😅
it works just fine with the red seal in.
A smart review for viewers.
Thanks 😊
Thanks for the info Anita! 😃👍🏻👊🏻
You’re welcome, Fred 🤩
Hey I just bought this and my reservoir always has bubbles at walls all over is that normal?
Excellent presentation.
Thanks 😁
Thanks for the great demo! Do you know off hand how many cups of coffee the "max line" brews when using coffee grinds?
1 cup stop acting poor and spend that money like a champ with this 200 hot water maker
Thank You Ma'am !
Can you just get hot water out of the unit?
Yes, don’t put a pod in 😀
The elite is the one that gives u a hot water option
How do you set the time on this keurig?!
How to turn off clean button
thank you
You're welcome 😉
no demo on how to install the filter for tise that want to use it
Heyyyy been a while 😆
Yes it has 😆

Mine broke after 1.5 years used about 300 times.
7:19 "That's what she said." 😄 (sorry...couldn't resist)
Cómo quisiera que tuviera traducido al Español, tu información según los comentay es buena
The coffee is not hot enough- anyone has tip to make it hotter.

Those coffee temps are unacceptable
Terrible machine. Doesn't work after 2 wks. Bad water sensor. Have had to return several times.

k-cup coffee is garbage
paul newman, starbucks, green mountain, dunkin dounts -- its all garbage -- horrible worst coffee -- totally undrinkable
Why do you say that?

@first name I agree with you. I would love the convenience of a pod machine but I just don’t think they make good coffee. ☹️

Setting the temperature and strength does that work with the 10 oz as well?
