You should have mentioned that the recyclable coffee pods do not work in this coffee maker or any of the ones with 5 prods. The prods don't properly puncture the pod and you end of with a lot of water and not much coffee in your cup as well as a mess.
I selected this video to figure out how to use the K-Cup but it was not mentioned. Great video though and thanks for taking the time to measure the temps of the water.
Great review. It's probably the water temp in the heater that changes. As it goes through the process the temp drops a little. Pre heating the cup with hot water may help.
When you use the adapter do not add the extra grey piece on the outside ( not the lid) just use the pod, the filter cup and lid. Make sure you take out the black piece the pod goes in to, the way it is as bought, to put the adaptor in. It's says " caution sharp needles"- push up on it from bottom to remove. Make sure the top lever is open when you take this out. Also replace to go back to regular k cups.
Picked this one up from Costco yesterday and I absolutely love it so far! The multi-stream technology makes a difference for sure. Definitely my favorite Keurig I've owned ☕😁

What’s nice about this design it no longer has a hot water storage tank. There is no wait time for the water to heat like the older models when shut off, It works similarly to a tankless hot water heaters (heats the water on demand) vs heating a whole tank full of water.
Plugged in, Power off, press and hold brew button and 8oz button together for 3 seconds. The 12oz button will illuminate to confirm high altitude setting is enabled. To disable, repeat procedure and 12oz button will turn off.
Gone are time clock and automatic first coup before you get out of bed, not an issue with me though. I have two previous Keurig models and this one from Costco. Checking Amazon many reviews had reliability issues just within days or months. Keeping my fingers crossed. The two previous models, one still kicking the other lasted about 2 years then started to leak. Still works just keeping an eye on it in need of a minor cleanup. More than a few years ago I purchased two, I think it was Panasonic. You put fresh beans in, set the timer so it starts grinding and brewing just about the time I get out of bed. Can't beat that.
I figured out how to save your personal selections. After selecting strength, temp and size, push and hold the person button. Saved will show up and then let go of the button.

If you want a little tip use a Yetti insulated metal cup and have it warmed up with hot water. When ready dump out and fill it and always replace the lid. Stays real hot for a good length of time.I have just the Supreme not the plus.
I agree, I later found out you need to remove the gray clip from the universal reusable coffee filter even though it says not to remove the sticker. Once you remove the gray clip the adapter will fit perfectly. Hope this helps
This coffee machine leaves a lot of coffee grounds in your cup, if you don’t run a water cup your second coffee will have double the amount of grounds!! This happened from day one, service recommended descale even though it happened from the first cup!
Just with regular k -cups purchased from Keurig, I have been A Keurig user for the last 10 years this is the first time I has issues. The first machine they shipped would not turn on, I was told to recycle it and they sent me a new one. I descaled it and now it is not as bad. I am sorry I didn’t purchase it from Walmart they stand behind what ever they sell I would exchange it a and try again because the coffee is better with this brewer! Keurig charged $229.00 for it, it was 99 at Costco. Plus they have to send a shipping label, I have to ship it back they may or may not repair it and the process could take up to 3 -4 weeks. I would purchase again but only if I could return it locally.
Bought one from Costco, grinds get in cup and around K cup. Splatters while brewing, and hottest temp is worse than my previous Keurig. Keurig sent me one in just one day. No better. Returning as well. Like the slow brew but not worth it

Its a filter, may give better taste than tap water, you may want to use distilled. I never had to use the descaling in 2 years and service light for it never came on. Those filters are cheap at Amazon, just replace per recommendation. Change mine every 6 months if I don't forget. or a year, couldn't tell the difference per taste. I make 3 cups per day every day, good for the prostate, LOL.

I purchased one of these and it had to be replaced by Keurig "3" times because each one stopped working within a month of having each one of them. I have had Keurigs for years and this is the first time I have ever had an issue with one. They really made me mad because after having to replace each one of them and me send them back to Keurig they finally ended up sending me a refurished one. Did not make me happy at all. I didn't pay for a refurbished one. I really wanted this one to work because I liked the design of the machine.

This particular Keurig allows you to fill it to the max level line, and will only use the amount of water desired when selecting the cup size. Say for instance you filled the reservoir, but you only want 8ounces. It will only pull the 8 ounces needed. Hope this helps :)

The K Supreme Plus has three temperature settings determined by the cup size selected. The in cup temperature on the smallest brew size can start at 160 and go to 172 degrees on the largest cup size.

How do I change the settings? This is not my first Keurig Supreme Plus (my third) for a variety of reasons and almost each time (6 times) I have failed to set the settings correctly. No. 1 always comes out fine. 8cups, 2nd level strength and full temp. But by #2? Either I’ve pressed #2 first by mistake BEFORE the settings and the machine has set itself for the same settings as #1. I do not know what happened but at this point no 1,2 and 3 are all set for the same settings. My issue? How do I UNSET them to rectify any mistakes made so that I can set them properly?
Hi Alicia, I am so sorry I missed this. To save your favorites, you will need to turn on your keurig as you normally would, and select the temp, strength and cup size. Once you have selected all three, you can hold the favorite button (1,2, or 3) until the screen display gives you a message of "saved". Hope this helps :)

@@sheilamarshall3947 Hi Sheila, the reusable kcup certainly should have came with instructions. It took me quite a bit of time to figure it out as well. There is a sticker holding a clip onto the adapter. You need to rip the sticker in order to remove the gray clip from the bottom. Once the gray clip is off, you can place it in the machine. Hope this helps. :) There is a person on youtube who also demonstrates it. i will try to find his video and paste it here
Yes but it only add one inch. I till my long thermos over the table edge. No problem, make sure you aim right else get your fingers burn with hot water.
I recently purchased this, but it has not been delivered yet. This will be my first Keurig. Will this unit run offbrand K cups? No fiancé son likes to use this Safeway brand k cups and I knew back in 2012 there were issues where they would not work in the Keurig 2.0. Is that still a problem today?
Just a little fyi for those that like their coffee as hot as possible, run 4 ozs of water through first, it heats up all the components and you'll get a hotter cup of coffee when you run it right after ;)
This machine fails because of its design that heats the water instantly. There is a thermostat safety cutoff that shuts down all pwer to the machine if the heater reaches a certain temp. This is even more likely with hotter settings or when descaling. It does NOT reset when it cools down. It can be reset with a paperclip but you need to pull the covers off to get to it because it is in the middle of the machine. Keurig will replace it if its in warranty but you will be weeks without coffee unless you have a spare Keurig. There are repair videos on youtube that detail the fix. I used one by “Just A Dad” successfully. I’m on my third machine in a year. Otherwise I like it a lot.
thank you for this informative review. i am most interested in the 3 strong settings. if you do not set a strong setting, does it brew a regular cup of coffee as if it was a keurig without a strong button or must you set the strong setting for it to work and if so, would the first setting then seem like a keurig without a strong button and how much stronger was the 2nd setting and how much stronger is the coffee from the 3rd and strongest setting? might you say the 2nd setting would be like a keurig with just one strong button and the 3rd setting is even stronger then if it had the just one strong setting making it the boldest and strongest cup of coffee of any keurig coffee maker? thank you very much.
It brews a regular cup and you can set the strength however strong you enjoy your coffee. I have to say The 3rd setting really really strong. It's a great bold cup of coffee.
Help please! Instructions say to use the coffee filter adaptor on 'plus series' how does it fit in??? the ground coffee filter seems to go in without the adaptor....
Hi Melissa, I finally figured it out haha. The way to fit the adapter in is by removing the black insert with the needle from the Keurig machine itself. The place where you would put the kcup is removable. Once you remove this, you will be able to fit the keurig adapter. Hope this helps :)
I am very confused with this Keurig maker. This is my first one. First coffee this morning was a fail. It came out in 5 spots and not a stream, more like 5 messy streams. It was a Folgers pod. I can’t figure out how to put the reusable one in either. It just doesn’t fit. I read u said to take the black insert out, do u take the little holder of the reusable basket out too, the one with the little side plastic thing? It doesn’t seem to close right at all no matter what I’m doing. I’ve got coffee where where after the first use. Boooo Any help is appreciated!
Not so good 😜 we bought ours from Kohl's, one month in and around 120 cups the descal light is on .so I cleaned it. A month later it's on again. Mind you I filter my water twice. Try to clean it again light won't go off . it's replaced by Keurig with the same model. Guess what this one is doing it as well. I just emailed them again. Not at all happy

i am coming from a b70 machine and the stronger brew setting simply pulls water and brews way slower. it does make a bit of difference

So I did all this but when I took the pod out there were coffee ground all over the top
As far as the temp goes, I owned that same digital thermometer and found that it was very inaccurate and often gave erroneous results
Should be temping the flow out of the machine into the cup, not the cup temp.

try a old fashioned perculator, or like me get a ninja coffee bar i love mine, you can make starbucks and dunkin drinks it has a built in frother
Press the K-cup inside until it punctures the hole on the bottom then close the lid. This will prevent the grounds from getting into ur coffee

Yes, once you close the lid, and press the desired settings, you can start the machine without a kcup inserted to make hot water :)

Just got the Supreme. Only half fills the cup. What are we doing wrong?

Yes but it only add one inch. I till my long thermos over the table edge. No problem, make sure you aim right else get your fingers burn with hot water.
I recently purchased this, but it has not been delivered yet. This will be my first Keurig. Will this unit run offbrand K cups? No fiancé son likes to use this Safeway brand k cups and I knew back in 2012 there were issues where they would not work in the Keurig 2.0. Is that still a problem today?
Yes. I have used some off brand kcups :)

Just a little fyi for those that like their coffee as hot as possible, run 4 ozs of water through first, it heats up all the components and you'll get a hotter cup of coffee when you run it right after ;)

@@NightTimeMommyReviews also, run a 4 oz. cleansing brew after your last cup of coffee. You will be amazed how much coffee grounds come out.
This machine fails because of its design that heats the water instantly. There is a thermostat safety cutoff that shuts down all pwer to the machine if the heater reaches a certain temp. This is even more likely with hotter settings or when descaling. It does NOT reset when it cools down. It can be reset with a paperclip but you need to pull the covers off to get to it because it is in the middle of the machine. Keurig will replace it if its in warranty but you will be weeks without coffee unless you have a spare Keurig. There are repair videos on youtube that detail the fix. I used one by “Just A Dad” successfully. I’m on my third machine in a year. Otherwise I like it a lot.
thank you for this informative review. i am most interested in the 3 strong settings. if you do not set a strong setting, does it brew a regular cup of coffee as if it was a keurig without a strong button or must you set the strong setting for it to work and if so, would the first setting then seem like a keurig without a strong button and how much stronger was the 2nd setting and how much stronger is the coffee from the 3rd and strongest setting? might you say the 2nd setting would be like a keurig with just one strong button and the 3rd setting is even stronger then if it had the just one strong setting making it the boldest and strongest cup of coffee of any keurig coffee maker? thank you very much.
It brews a regular cup and you can set the strength however strong you enjoy your coffee. I have to say The 3rd setting really really strong. It's a great bold cup of coffee.
Strength stronger with 2 lines showing or solid with no lines?
The K Supreme plus has a slower stream of coffee than my Keurig Elite. Is this because of the charcoal filtering system?
I haven't used the charcoal filter yet and the flow is much slower than my old Keurig.
It’s because of the strength setting. It slows the brew down to saturate the grounds.
Yea I noticed it has a slower stream also, I do think that helps to improve the flavor though.
Help please! Instructions say to use the coffee filter adaptor on 'plus series' how does it fit in??? the ground coffee filter seems to go in without the adaptor....
Hi Melissa, I finally figured it out haha. The way to fit the adapter in is by removing the black insert with the needle from the Keurig machine itself. The place where you would put the kcup is removable. Once you remove this, you will be able to fit the keurig adapter. Hope this helps :)
I am very confused with this Keurig maker. This is my first one. First coffee this morning was a fail. It came out in 5 spots and not a stream, more like 5 messy streams. It was a Folgers pod. I can’t figure out how to put the reusable one in either. It just doesn’t fit. I read u said to take the black insert out, do u take the little holder of the reusable basket out too, the one with the little side plastic thing? It doesn’t seem to close right at all no matter what I’m doing. I’ve got coffee where where after the first use. Boooo

Do you know the actual temperature? I know it’s 3 setting but would be great to actually know what temp they are.

I ordered this machine it's very pretty but like my old one much better!!
Not so good 😜 we bought ours from Kohl's, one month in and around 120 cups the descal light is on .so I cleaned it. A month later it's on again. Mind you I filter my water twice. Try to clean it again light won't go off . it's replaced by Keurig with the same model. Guess what this one is doing it as well. I just emailed them again. Not at all happy
