After a weekend of Trading at Foxton Locks we head north via The Leicester, Coventry, Trent and Mersey, and Shropshire Union Canals. We Take our Motor Boat Adrastea and Historic Narrowboat Butty Nebulae to Trade at Norbury Wharf Festival.

What difference does it make to the diesel consumption towing the butty ? Such a beautiful sight !

Not a lot more effort to tow just get them moving really, hard to say how much more we use when towing just over 1 litre per hour I guess not towing would be around 1 litre per hour.

Thanks, I think you mean the pigeon box it’s over the engine and ventilates the engine room
