I have 3 hours on my 2023 te300. I've already taken it for a service to get a substantial leak fixed from the powervalve cover area. I insisted it was leaking from the powervalve stop bolt, but they only replaced the gasket around the cover which may not even have been leaking to begin with as far as i can tell. Since getting the bike back i've ridden it around the block to see it still weeping from the stop bolt, but i've also noticed this rubber angle piece that you just replaced is also damp with oil. Are these bikes just notorious leakers, or am i going to be fine when i iron out the initial problems. Bike runs like a dream other than being leaky.
Good job man. I recently purchased a two year old gas gas model with what the seller said was 5 hours on it. It has the exact same set up. With the exact same problem. I liked that funnel you used , never seen one like that. Now the option remains , do I do the job myself and buy the tools I don`t have? Or do I let the dealer do it? We shall see.
Thanks for this! Wasn’t sure if I could get to it without taking the bike apart
Glad I could help! It is a bit tight but doable! Enjoy The Ride, Jared
Could you possibly use a crimper for pex plumbing fittings for the crimp clamp
Thanks for this. my te 150 has been weeping oil from under that tank since it hit 10 hrs.
You're Welcome! I'm just glad I was able to do it with the tank in the bike! Enjoy The Ride, Jared

Haha it sure did. I turned around and found it on the workshop cart! NO idea how it decided to land there so nicely! Enjoy The Ride, Jared

Hello. What piece did you use to capture and direct the oil away from the bike?
