- In a recent article written my Mopar Insiders, it is revealed as to why such hefty fines are being levied against Stellantis (FCA brands) and why prices have soared in the last few years. New CAFE standards have caused the demise of the Hemi engine and it seems Mopar had little choice but to abandon the hemi, which has always been the identity of the brand. These numbers will floor you!

@@cardboardboification Yep, every 10 or 15 years the last generation of wonder refrigerants that was the savior of the planet suddenly becomes an imminent environmental disaster...once DuPont and Honeywell needed to sell a new VERY expensive proprietary refrigerant, paid-off politicians give manufacturers CAFE credits to incentivize the change...and we the consumer pay for it.
The people up top who are pushing this already have all the money, they print it and create it. Following the money will only lead you to the minions actually doing the dirty work.
This is all about control and leading humanity into a neo-feudalistic society and people like Elon Musk are Judas goats helping to lead people into bondage. I knew a while back that there was no way Tesla was turning a profit, that they were being propped up and this video just confirmed that. Musk is in the billionaire boys club, you don't make it there without being compromised. Sadly there are many who are fooled by the act that clown puts on.
If you look at Ford, GM, Tesla and who the top investors are, you probably won't be surprised to see the names Vanguard, State Street and Black Rock.
And Greg, did you know and you probably do 75% of the EV business is coming out of China?
And it is subsidizing cars for the rich who buy Tesla's. Those cars would have to be sold at a much higher price absent those subsidies that drive up the price of powerful cars and trucks.
One cruise ship emits the same pollution annual as 3.6 million cars and not much is done about that fact.

I believe the sales are going to go down way more then they have now.
Smaller turbocharged engines are much higher maintenance than larger normally aspirated engines. Nobody is discussing that metric since it will be a consumer cost after the warranty is up. Which means resale value will take a huge hit, if you can sell it at all.

Dodge made a huge mistake getting rid of cars for regular buyers! As far as regulations go and car style and types they usually change in ten-year cycles. Covid played a part in slowing it up. But the Charger, Challenger and 300 platform were old by auto industry standards when they came out. They were built on an old Mercedes platform and should have been replaced in 2015. It's amazing they have lasted as long as they have and sold as well as they have! The release of the Hellcat engine is what kept their sales up but also cost them in the penalties.

@@edennard1 I'll meet you halfway on that--EVs have to be designed to eventually be affordable by Joe Average consumer, and not break their bank. I also think an incentive bonus to car companies from world governments to make EVs part of their portfolio mix is possibly a better way to do it: 10-20%, an incentive..30-40%, higher incentives, and so on and so on. I'll disagree with you on, "buyers who don't want them", because there have been polls taken about consumers' interest in EVs, and many have stated that it would be nice to have one, if the range and the cost to initially buy are right. Also, disagree about the 'no proof', because you don't state about what 'option' they wouldn't be better for.

When I heard about the 6 cylinder engine I knew they didn't have enough clean air credits. That's been going on for years. When the big 3 started building micro cars that was for clean air and fuel consumption credits. This is also why the ram heavy trucks 2500- 5500 prices went up 10 to 12000 dollars a year. Smaller engines with turbos and superchargers will be the next big thing. Chrysler did it before with the Turbo Daytonas.
And the turbo engines don’t last aren’t as powerful and suck to work on no thanks
@GoodAfterNoon you have that right. Diesel engines and turbos are good but small engines don't have a strong torque.
There are many issues around battery electric vehicles I see are troubling.
1. Currently the cost to replace a battery pack is huge $30k plus. This destroys any resale value and creats waste disposal problems.
2. Your driving range and recharge time are limiting factors that may not effect people living in cities but in rural areas with large distances between towns or for people that may want to take driving trips it a logistics headache. Cold weather and towing severly reduce range.
3. The safety issue is also a reality that is alarming. EV batteries can and do fail into a self sustaining thermal runaway fire that cannot be put out with normal fire fighting.
It feels like the 1970's all over again.
I'll keep my HEMI as long as I can. Once I need another car and if electric is my only option it won't be Dodge. If I want twin turbos, I'll go Japanese or German.

Here's my two cents (opinion) and it's off topic but does relate to NHTSA fines so here I go: Premise - NHTSA is an administration/agency just like ATF, EPA, FTC etc. If you recall about 12 years Chantell and Mike Sackett who own land in Idaho were told by the EPA they could not remove ponds in their own back yard and fill them with dirt so they could build. Simply stated, the EPA which is an agency said they would fine the couple several thousand dollars a day if they did not comply. The couple went to court and it ended up in front of the Supreme Court. SCOTUS ruled in their favor saying: EPA cannot create policy which results in fines, arrest etc. This beyond the scope of the EPA's authority for this couples property. This is exclusively empowered to the Legislative Branch, period. Moving on: The ATF has currently changed their policy and the ATF articulated those who do no comply can be arrested for a felony. Millions of Americans will become felons due to ATF change in policy. Anyone beginning to see a pattern here! Presently ATF is in court addressing the current policy change and let's just say things are going like they want it. In closing: NHTSA by its name sounds like an administrative body and is not empowered to legislate fines just like the EPA! Unless authority is specifically articulated in legislation from Congress empowering NHTSA to fine companies for non compliance it appears they are over stepping their authority, just like the EPA. There is a litigation on the SCOTUS calendar scheduled this fall for another case which will have greater impact and a violent rippling affect on Gov't Agencies who are Legislating instead of working policy issues. Lastly, is it possible that NHTSA is doing the same thing the EPA and ATF have done? If it is then the Gov't has been receiving large sums on monies ( called fines) when the agency did not have the authority to impose said fines. The alphabet agencies are currently operating under the "who's going to stop us" paradigm. The courts can rule however they see fit, and the agencies just keep plowing ahead with the agenda. Fight them in court. Waste your money. They just rewrite the rules and impose them anyway.
The object is forced labor and the problem is our autonomy. We gotta vote out the mess or something more drastic may be warranted before we turn over our lives to captors.

The last time the government tried to drastically remake the auto industry was in the 1970’s and we saw what happened back then. It was an epic disaster for the industry and the economy. It continued into the 80’s and automakers finally made some cool stuff again in the 90’s. It seems this is happening all over again.

The 70s could have been a new beginning for US automakers, but instead of utilizing quality engineering in producing small fuel efficient cars that the times needed the accountants pushed cost cutting engineering to boost profits that created a lot of crappy vehicles. That pushed away customers right into the hand of the Japanese. They invested in quality engineering.
Elon Musk idolized Henry Ford and went back to basics to do it the old Ford way with complete vertical integration and with constant improvement. Tesla is now more like Ford than Ford.
Tesla has the charging stations. Tesla beat Porsche on the Nuremburgring.

I would argue it created tremendous innovation in engine tech. Yeah my dual overhead cam 4 cylinder of the 80’s sucked compared to my current 2.0 turbo 4 of today(that with 4xe tech nets me 375 hp and 470 ft lbs of torque), but those regulations helped push that innovation.
This is where the government needs to stay the hell out of our business

One thing I don't think you covered RacerX, is the "penalty" changed from $5.50 to $14 for every 0.1mpg below what the standard is. That is the major driving factor for the performance cars increase over the last few years.

Everything has a hemispherical head design nowadays, of course not a Dodge design, still a "Hemi". Copyright has always prevented man's from advertising their engines as such. I bought a 2010 SRT new. Since then the Challenger has received numerous improvements, but the cost to upgrade simply wasn't worth it. Still love my car. 75,000 miles later it's been reliable, comfortable, and compared to older muscle classics I've owned, and a couple I still do, it has amenities, safety features and fuel mileage the old ones never dreamed of. I grew up in the malaise era and absolutely appreciate what I have.

Stellantis may have sold less vehicles last year, I believe it was 11%, yet they were the 3rd most profitable auto manufacturer last year. I believe profits were up 13%.

Thank you for doing the research and spending the time on looking this information up and sharing it with us all. Hopefully, this will open everyone's eyes to what's really going on and not blame FCA/Dodge for this. We should all be so thankful to FCA for buying the credits and paying the fines to allow us to keep the V8 HEMI's a little bit longer than what was originally expected. One could say that Chrysler helped fund Tesla. Therefore, it's an unofficial Mopar 😂

Yea it got passed along to us. Not all hemis but still. Stellantis, essentially owned by Peugeot is a European company and doesn't really care about American muscle car enthusiasts. We'll see how long the Hornet and the Daytona prop up that company.

I was stationed in Berlin Germany and Europeans love American nostalgia more than Americans do! I live near route 66 in Arizona now. You'd be amazed how many Europeans make the pilgrimage to experience and see route 66 and the old cars. I think you'd be surprised how many old American Muscle cars are in European car collections.
The 300 first, then Challenger and Charger are all built on a Mercedes platform and the 5.7 was designed and built while Chrysler was still merged with Mercedes. The autobahn has no speed limit!
FCA isn't paying the fines. The fines are rolled into the price of their cars. So is the EPA credit buys from Tesla. The drop in sales suggest that FCA has hit the ceiling on what they car charge their customers.

This is why I never understood the customers who have access to this information but still don't appreciate Dodge the way that they should. They gave the customer what they wanted and paid the bill in order to bring it to the table. The last eight years with Dodge has been awesome, and I appreciate them even more for taking a stance for their customers. However, this way of doing things was not gonna last. This was a temporary celebration for what once was, and they put their money where their mouths was. They delivered on so much high horsepower in the last ten years that they lost profits. Yet they still delivered on the last call vehicles, but people still complained. Like the ceo of Dodge stated, you can't make everyone happy. @redlion9199 Wow, if you think that's the case, you need to check your math. That was in 08. The first Hellcat came out in 2015. Either way, that bailout saved over 1 million jobs that also pays taxes. The question is? How much would all of us, including you, have to deal with the fallout of losing two major car industries in the US economy? The effects would have been huge. That's the only reason the government stepped in to help. Because not only was the economy gonna take a major hit, we couldn't afford at that time. We would have lost over 1 million taxe paying jobs who paid taxes every year. Most of us, even more than others, because we made so much with two incomes in one house. Do the math on how much the economy stood to lose in the end, and you'll realize what the government did. That we could not afford to lose the big 3.

In the past Dodge has made very popular, hugely successful small, fuel efficient cars. They can offset their fines and keep the Hemi by doing the same again, but for whatever reason they just don’t seem willing or capable. Sure they have the Hornet but they need something a lot less expensive to make that work.
I mean it really shouldn’t be that difficult to sell ten (or more, honestly) $20k Neons for every Hemi.
I've wanted a Scat Pack for a long time and never felt I could justify it money wise when having to include gasoline, insurance and tax costs. I'm thinking now I'll find a 2010 through 2013 5.7 Challenger with a clean interior and build it into a nice looking 450 plus rear-wheel horsepower car.
I have a 2022 Scat Charger Widebody. The insurance (full coverage) is $109 per month

I have a 2012 R/T charger and was looking to get a Scat but used ones a couple of years old are going for over $40,000-$50,000 and I had a friend buy one before the pandemic for $32,000 loaded out the door. So now I’m looking at the 300S with the 5.7 a couple of years old for around 35,000 -30,000. I just want a newer car but don’t want to spend $50,000 for a Scat charger or challenger with cloth seats used.

Think about the disposal of those batteries on top of the mining of the properties for the batteries and the pollution from the power plants to charge them! I personally don't think EV is any better on the carbon footprint.

Even within the last 10 years they were having brown-outs in California that suddenly disappeared as quickly as they came. They didn't build any more power plants other than solar and wind and it doesn't seem that would have been enough considering how bad they made the brown-outs sound.

@@NXT_LVL no. Evs aren’t staying long. There isn’t enough material for batteries. It’s a temporary fix by a short sighted political party. The price of batteries will not be affordable for vehicles once electricity companies start buying them to make electricity more green. Right now the electricity comes from burning coal 40% oil and gas 35%. As they go solar they will need batteries and there really isn’t much cobalt lithium etc for that and cars. It’s just the truth that hasn’t been realized by the masses yet.
@@NXT_LVL add to that the limited number of discharge cycles of batteries it’s impossible. Lithium batteries lose half their capacity in a couple years. Think of your iPhone after a year or two. It doesn’t hold a charge half as long as new.
Wishful thinking...everyone is going the way of EV's and Hybrids. It's not like Dodge is the only company doing this. Ford and Chevy's V8's will be very short lived.
What about the heavy duty lineup? Won't there still be a 6.4 option on the 2500? I'd go with that every time.
Hemi was gone for a long time than came back I think in the 02-03 model years I could be wrong. I imagine they will bring them out again or keep them in the larger trucks as they are an impressive engine.
As always great content and information on what is happening to our V8s. The business end of things is always about the bottom line and making a profit. So, unfortunately it seems like that was inevitable if Dodge wants to be competitive or even stay in business.

This video has a lot of good facts regarding Cafe standards and just how complicated pricing can be on vehicles. There is one Very important fact in that Stellantis was formed After the most recent cafe standards were established therefore they are unable to stock and or ship ANY gas vehicles to certain states unless they are a customer sold order as they were not a company that was grandfathered into that Cafe based agreement. Cafe is Corporate Average Fuel Economy and looks at the entire fleet average fuel economy hence this is why manufacturers are being pressured into building EV’s despite the fact that the carbon footprint to build a small EV is much higher than the gas equivalents vehicles, For example a Volvo XC40 gas vs EV of which they produce both. You have to drive the XC40 EV 77,000 miles before it equals the carbon footprint of the gas. In other word you are not saving any carbon emissions with the EV until you have driven 77,000 miles. But let’s not confuse a good story with the facts as it goes against the current narrative. Just in case any internet trolls want to dispute these facts and say I know nothing, I have worked for various Auto manufacturers for the last 30 years so I have an insider view to the real facts.

My 2019 Dodge Charger Scatpack when in Eco Mode averaged 27 MPG Highway and I hit 30 MPG Highway in my 2015 Charger R/T. These figures where on long roadtrips that where 99% highway driving at speeds between 65-80 MPH and again in Eco Mode... My R/T City/Highway combined averaged 19-20 MPG in street mode and my 392 Scatpack averaged 17-18 MPG City/Highway combined when in street mode...

Unfortunately, we have too much of big brother forcing change on auto manufacturers. I get that not everyone needs a V8, so I can see more smaller vehicles with the four or six cylinders in them. I still support the combustion engine over the push for any electric vehicles. I don't see how they are better for the environment at all.
A lot of the legacy industry spreads false doubt about environmental benefits and a lot of legacy fans like to resist change and complain about it. A human flaw which about half the population holds until they find something else to be upset about.
Current EV Battery technology strip mines the planet for several rare earth minerals. (And that’s not even counting all the toxins realized during the smelting process of the mined ores) If it really was about saving the planet, hydrogen would be pushed more since it has the lowest of environmental impact. And hydrogen fuel cells could replace huge EV battery packs thus saving the planet from being strip mined.
I watched a video where someone researched the amount of co2 produced in the lifetime of the vehicle, for both combustion and electric powered vehicles. In the production and average life of a gasoline vehicle, it produces 35 tons of co2, and in the production and lifespan of electric vehicles it produced 30 tons of co2. (I might be 5-10 tons off, but the difference between the two are pretty close) However, this doesn't include the devestating environmental impact of mining lithium and other rare earth metals for batteries, and more co2 being produced in the factories producing electricity outside the city.

Because the government is raising the fleet average from 30mpg to 45mpg in a couple of years. That wipes out V8's and leaves us with turbo 4's and EV's.

It would be smart for Dodge to create a fuel efficient vehicle that has the components of a regular hellcat but make it compatible with one of their engine crates. In other words sell you a fuel efficient hellcat and then be able to sell you the engine on the side. Wonder if this would work with the having to buy less credits and still making their vehicles fuel efficient per say without getting dinged by the EPA
I agree with this, if they would make these cars more modular that would help. Right now it is prohbitively expensive to do engine swaps, even within the same brand. Make the Hurricane plug and play easily with the Hellcat. Also make it to where the transmission isn't required to run an engine so that manual transmissions swaps are easier.
Yeah, I heard about this and the fact that Chevy and Ford have invested in green energy and electric vehicles earned them a certain amount of EPA credits. Therefore they were able to continue making their V-8 powered vehicles more so Ford than Chevy, but both companies have a enough EPA credits that they don’t have to be subject to another company like Tesla, Chevys problem with the Camaro is that it just doesn’t sell. But this is why Ford still able to stay in the game with a V-8 a little bit longer. Dodge just wasn’t smart when it came to banking the credits that they need because they don’t have any fuel-efficient cars that I can think of.

Did the same with a 94 Ranger stick shift also 300,000 miles. Still running. Just think about how many new car sales that messes up.

Yep you could do the same thing with a cam shaft and new hardened valves. Also changed the gasoline blend. The fuel change also f'D them up. Not expensive to adapt to. If you knew how. But illegal in the 80s in CA.

Why didn't Stellantis just gear the Hemis up with 4.10:1 final ratios and 8HP70s? When you put the engine around its torque peak at cruise it will go into, and stay in, MDS mode more often and for longer. My RAM gets much better mileage since I've gone from the 3.55:1 gears to the 3.92:1 final. I should have gone to a 4.10:1 final and I'd really be doing well. Lower the truck, cover the bed, use 31.5" tires and you'll see MUCH better economy than a 3.23:1 8hp70 truck.
I typically got 22.5mpg with 392 rear end, plus excellent pulling power. 26 mpg on I-80 until I hit 70mph. At that point it would drop to about 20.
How is that taken into Tesla's books.If it is going straight through the p+l it suggests that Tesla's sustainable earnings are going to dip in relative terms going forward.

I still have my 2003 Ram. 176,000 miles. 5.7l hemi is still just as strong as the day I bought it.
This was the reason Fiat had the 500e electric car. Of course they only sold them in California and Oregon. I had a 2015 on a lease - $130 a month. It cost me $6k otd to drive that thing for 3 years, it was a cool car. FCA straight out hated selling them though and lost big $$$ on everyone sold (or leased)
I’ll be keeping both my Hellcats and my R/T Durango. Next month we start the hunt for our 69 Charger R/T.
Thats the thing too...nobody is gonna make you turn in your current Hellcat, HEMI Charger/Challenger or whatever. Just keep it as long as you can and take very good care of it because you won't be able to get a new one anymore. But there's nothing wrong with the one you have so just keep it. And if you don't have one, Dodge sold millions of these vehicles. They're out there to buy somewhere. Just look and you'll find what you want. You may have to pay a decent price for it but they'll be available for quite some time.
All true except for the simple fact that it's all based on money. The EPA is in the market for making money, regulation is secondary. I emailed them about the luxury tax we get charged for our hellcats when we buy them. I showed them receipts and photos of my 25mpg at 80mph. They then proceeded to tell me that car computers are unreliable.
I then asked them if the mike marker on the roads were also unreliable as well as the fuel pumps that we buy fuel from. To me, math is math. When I add up what I used and what it takes to fill up, my math shows exactly what the car does. So. With that answer I got from EPA, I guarantee it's for profit. Nothing else. The other issue EPA has is they base their credit cost and luxury tax rates on computer models. NOT real world applications.
So. It's money. Simple and done. And will always be that way until they get challenged in a court of law

Seeking a class action against EPA for charging a luxury tax, on top of purposefully skewed results with no real world testing, or an individual suit. I know either direction I'm going to be seeking interest on that luxury tax that I and everyone else paid. I'd hazard a guess that at 5 years old with barely 5000 miles and proven 25mpg that I've put out less pollution than the next standard SUV that mom drives to see her boyfriend during soccer practice!
Semi operators had a solution for a while. EPA rules from 2007 on resulted in semi tractors that were unreliable, fuel inefficent,
vehicles. Some manufacturers started selling what they called "gliders". These were new tractors without an engine. A rebuilt
pre 2007 engine could be installed and the owner had a good vehicle. Unfortunately the EPA got wise and outlawed the
practice.
Some salespeople at the dealerahip i work at were able to upcharge a corvette $40,000. $160,000 for a corvette

I bought a ram warlock last year because of the 5.7 Hemi I traded in my F150 and all I can say is that V8 is supernatural I’ve driven 3.5 turbo and Cayote as well as GM 5.3 the hemi hands down is the purest I’ve driven every day brings me smile when I turn that truck on 😊 I hope they keep at least 1 V8 option between ford and Ram otherwise I’m buying 2500

Hemi's don't have to be large, they just need a hemispherical combustion chamber. Alfa Romeo (another Stellantis company) has been making hemi's (note, not capitalized) since 1928 and the original 1750 straight six.

I was at a dealership the other day and saw a scat Pak for more than I paid for my 2019 Redeye Challenger.
The transferrable pay to pollute permit/credit system is nothing new in the States. If a company pollutes less, transferring their unused credits for cash is an extra incentive. In the case of Tesla, if they are getting material from mining operations located in the States, they are likely under the same system and have to pay for EPA credits although a lot of their battery material is imported, at least 40% from what I've read.
FCA was buying carbon credits from Tesla. Stellantis halted that in lieu of using their own. The really sad thing is, the low displacement turbo engines won't save nearly as much fuel as the EPA tests would suggest. Both those and the hybrid drive systems that together replace the traditional (high displacement NA) solution for high-output engines will increase the cost and frequency of maintenance, and will decrease the useful lifespan of the vehicle. If we were take an honest accounting of how much energy it takes to build a vehicle, even if there's a modest fuel savings while operating the vehicle, it will cost significantly more to make in both price of the vehicle vs fuel savings and in terms of energy used to build that replacement when an engine fails.

And somewhere along the line some bean counter at FCA decided it was more profitable to just sell Hemi’s and pay the fines than improve and keep the efficient Dart, 200 and Fiat’s and offering a full lineup.

I missed the 360 Volare until I scored a 1984 Dodge 600 ES 2.2 turbo 5-spd. Just a different definition of 4-door fun (and just as pesky as Lean Burn was).
Exactly why I couldn't figure out why they got rid of the Dart and the 200. Thought it was really stupid to get rid of them rather than improve them. I actually liked these 4 banger cars especially the 200. Not sure this is entirely why they got rid of them, maybe warranty claims were part of reason. In other to many words Stellantis had a huge part in the reason to end the Hemi.
The 200 didn't compete well in the market. It was very unreliable as well.

Change can be hard. We went from unreliable powerful gas guzzling muscle cars from the 50s and 60s. To pollution controlled detuned oversized boats and smaller more fuel efficient cars from the Big 3 and Japan. The result was cars that got better fuel economy and reliability started to become a priority. Then came computers and fuel injection. Engines got better economy while putting out more power. Performance started making a comeback in the mid 80s. Before you knew it V6 engines were putting out as much power as the older V8s and were just as fast or even faster. And it got better from there.
Love the perspective here. We forget how it all started sometimes 😇.

The 50's and especially the 60's cars were very reliable...Who told you they were not? You never drove a new one did you?
Remember they have a 5 digit odometer,EVERY old car you see what they tell you the mileage is,is most likely a lie as they go to 99,999 back to 00,000...Some have a 1/10th readout in opposite color and they go 99,999.9 to 00,000.0 again..
We owned new 60's cars and 70's cars in my family all Chrysler Corporation cars,and reliable well past 200,000 miles...Yes,my 69 Charger RT 440 has 320,000 miles at 230,000 I rebuilt the original engine and the 727 is bulletproof reliable..I bought that car in the early 80's and it wasnt abused,a 63 year old owned it and it had only 130,000 original miles in 1984!!! Very low and car looked new in/out.Most were over 200,000 all were over 100,000 and beat up by 2nd owners!
My Dad bought new cars in the 60's and 70's and they were very reliable,you are confused like many because you bought one used with 450,000 miles and you thought it was 50,000 miles!
My uncle owned a plumbing business and had Dodge vans and trucks in the 70's and 80's,those were reliable more than his newer 2000's Ford/GM vans that have computer issues,lifter problems at under 100,000 miles! The only Dodge Vans that had issues under 100,000 miles had a 318 or 360 light duty with the 904 based transmission,those were about 100,000-120,000 mile rebuild needed usually...But the 400 and 440 vans with the 727 never had one fail and his vans went 300,000 miles on the original engine!
Newer cars are less reliable,more expensive to repair..I know most people drove a 20 year old 60's car with 200,000 plus miles and was abused and they thought OH thats how they all were!
383 Mopars easily get 25 mpg hwy that engine is probably the best engine made for performance ,reliability and power...
That might be the case but currently US is way behind than say China for EV infrastructure. Just watch for the number of teslas driving 66mph instead of 75mph on the highway because they will lose massive range. Lmao. No way to live.
these turbo charged six cylanders only get 1-2 mpg better... doesnt seem worth it to me... if it was at least a 25-50% increase it would make perfect sense but for such a small improvement I dont get why they would do that...

One thing to realize is the smog shit; turbo motors have different regulations over smog than non turbo motors. That's why you see so little of non turbo motors these days. Fuel mileage isn't as much of an issue.
I told a guy this a few years ago when we were talking about how dodge was getting away with all this. I said it will fuck them in the end. Also said ford has been getting ahead of this for years and thats why the mustang will be the the lone survivor with a v8
