This is the only hip exercise video I've found that actually works for me, other than squats. I had a brain aneurysm that made half of my body temporarily numb so I'm currently re-learning how to walk. My issue is my hips are walk and that's why I can't walk well, but this video is helping I can already feel it. Thank you!
After doing this workout off and on over several weeks, it became too easy with just bodyweight. I decided to add minibands and that instantly leveled up this workout!
Thank you Jibby for this workout! I also love your knee strenghtening exercises - I've had to cut back on my running because of knee and hip pain and I feel like your workouts help my train exactly the right muscles to help with that problem. I also love the structure of your workouts - you leave just enough time to transition and show the next exercise in advance so one can mentally prepare. The timer helps a lot as well so one doesn't need to look at the screen all the time. I'm super happy I've found your workouts and I will keep doing them. Thanks a lot for all the work you put into them :)
Isa Welly is brilliant. Shes so fun to watch and do pilates with and I love you personality and way of explaining things. It's weird to bring up her skin color as a reason to support her, when she has amazing personal attributes
I am a young teen hurdler and I was looking for more additional hip flexor exercises for strengthening so that I can have a faster trail leg while going over the hurdle! It is hard enough to find female workout videos that actually work for me and this quick, easy, body weight exercise video was perfect for me! Most of the exercises are ones I already have from my track workout plan that I do so I know these workouts will get you results over time! But this video has enough new ones so I will definitely be watching this video often!! Thank you so much 😁🫶
I just discovered this video today, and it’s amazing!! I have really weak hips from a minor sports injury years ago that’s been nagging ever since, and I can tell this will help so much. Your description of how to isolate the hips with each movement was super helpful and easy to follow!!
Thank you for this video! It's memory some of what I've been doing with my physical therapist and I've finished up there so I'm on my own. I pause it to try to do three sets of each (easier than my rewinding). Someone mentioned mini bands after they've gained him strength to do the clamshells. That is also what we did in PT, strengthening the bands as I increased strength. I love that you are going at a proper pace and doing one set each gives a reasonable 10 minutes. When I have time, I try to warm up with 5 minutes on the exercise bike first, but I have to stay disciplined. Thank you again. It helps me feel less alone in this.
This was awesome, thank you so much. If there were 2 more seconds on each transition that would be helpful, since I had to rewind almost every single time. You’re the best!
This is awesome ! I had surgery when I was younger where they put pins into my hip bones and I haven't been able to find any good workouts for the hips ! Thank you for sharing, I'll be trying these workouts tomorrow 💕
My hips are very weak which has caused some issues in my knee and lower back when I started back running. I'm hoping this is just what I need! I also did you knee strengthening video. I plan to do both of these several times a week to help!
Thanks for this great hip workout video! I’m a new mom and after birthing my baby I’ve had so much hip pain I can’t sleep on my sides. Even after a year. I’ve been doing this video at least once a day and it’s helping so much!! Love that inner thigh lift with opposite leg crossed over ❤️
My hips are so tight and my lower back has been suffering for it. I just tried this for the very first time and felt my lower back release and it felt SOOO good! I will definitely be doing this again!
My hips are so tight and my lower back has been hurting me as well for months and I’ve been doing this every second day for the last week and feel a major difference! So thankful to have found this exercise. I can only do about half of it right now before It’s too much for me but I’ll work up to it! Best of luck to you in your healing journey 💕💗
@sappysarah yeah, it's definitely too much for me now, but I'm so excited to keep going with it. I'm so glad to read so many comments about how much of an improvement this has made for others though, so thank you for the reassurance and the kind comment.
Gotta tell you how much I really really appreciate this workout. I can't do lunges because of a foot injury from 3 years ago. This workout is short, simple, and sweet. There is a mild burn in my legs the next day, but it's nothing that will make daily movement difficult (or awkward-looking lol) I also appreciate that there are exercises here that target the quads and hamstrings.
I struggle with lower back pain on a regular bases because of my Job and my strong period cramps but your workout does magic to my lower back thankyou ❤
This is a great 10-minute quickie - the transitioning from left and right was a little much..have you thought about doing it all on one side to really feel the burn! Just a thought..I most definitely saved them to my favorites, and you just got a new follower...Thanks, Jibby
For the past 3 years I've been having pain on my left side of my lower back to the point where if I sleep on my back I can barely stand straight the next day. I just did this workout and realized how much weaker my left leg and hip is, my goodness I hope this helps. I'm doing this every day! Thank you for this video! 🩷🩷🩷
Heyyy ! I want the advice of runners... Do you think this workout is good for runners ? Thank you ! (sorry if my English is not very good... I'm French 😂😭)
Your first 5 minutes ia all ai can do. But I play that forst 5 twice to get my 10 minutes. My upper body strength is not there for the extended clamshell. If you see this I would like a reccomended video, but will go look. I am trying to avert a hip replacement. I am in such bad shape.☹❤

Why is it you are the ONLY black female workout youtuber I have ever found? Good going girl and that reverse nordic is very cool
JaneKate Fitness is also really good!
The music is white thou
Honestly I’ve have to add black woman to any yoga or exercise routine

@@converseshoes16it’s not weird, it’s about representation.

Love this. Quick, and easy to add at the end of any routine. I’m using this to try and help me heal a leg injury
This was awesome, thank you so much. If there were 2 more seconds on each transition that would be helpful, since I had to rewind almost every single time. You’re the best!
Definitely using this as one of my staple routines for increased mobility - loved it! Thanks girl!

Whew!!! This humbled me 😂😂😂
This got a GOOD crack outta my lower back. Thank you, girl!
Amazing! After a year of recovering from herniated discs my hip flexors are very weak this helps a lot
How are you doing with this still?
We need a part 2 ❤
Just do 2 set
Should these exercises be done as a regular workout a few times a week? As mobility? Or daily?
❤❤ Love it. Feeling each inch of my hip 😂
Heyyy ! I want the advice of runners... Do you think this workout is good for runners ? Thank you ! (sorry if my English is not very good... I'm French 😂😭)
Yess!! It helps you run faster if ur hip flexors are weak it impacts ur speed so the stronger they are u can guarantee you’ll run faster.
How many times a week should I do this? Every day? Or like 3 times a week?
Can I do dis everyday?
Can this be a warmup
So does this help uneven hips?
This is what I needed. I'm so weak.
should we do these daily

Can an exercise burn fat on the sides of the abdomen?
Do you know if I can do this while pregnant?
My hips are so tight. Going to try this workout.
Woo! Yess I can’t wait for you to try it out!
Did it help your right hip flexors and did you do this consistently? I’m having the same issue 😭
