- Landan shows you how to install this 75mm Throttle body & plenum on this 2003 4.6L Mustang GT and throws it on the dyno for before and after results.

Bolt on a performance 1996-2004 Mustang throttle body to your engine for increased horsepower & throttle response. Aftermarket performance throttle bodies bring in more air while giving your engine show winning looks. Add a 65mm, 70mm, 75mm, or 78mm throttle body to your SN95 or New Edge Mustang GT, V6, Bullitt, or Cobra for faster acceleration and added power. With a wider diameter throttle plate and body, these components bring in more air to your engine while giving it a custom look.

I Really like the honest numbers. Really would like to see some long tubes on this combo before and after the tune.
first video I've seen that shows the results without a tune thanks.
I have this TB and plenum and I like it. This particular mustang in this video is making very good power for being untuned but I'm glad you did this without s tune to see the actual gains of the bolt on.
I would recommend this combo to anyone.

I did when I purchased the tb/plenum combo about 2 years ago :)
Just got my car on the chassis dyno at the Oreilly street machine nationals last weekend. My car made 250rwhp, and 283rwftlb. With a factory tune, and 87 octane fuel. I was happy.

Did you make 250whp and 283 with just a tune that's it or with bolt ons? I have a 02 gt 5spd with bbk intake and xpips and gears. Looking to tune it. Bought the car with 169k on it for $1800. Little summer project car to mess around with.

I ordered the throttle body and what a difference! I have it paired with a c&l plenum on a buil 4.6 with ported and polished head which have over sized valves what a difference than the stock throttle body! Thanks LMR

I just placed an order for this combo after cancelling my order on the BBK 78mm throttle body plenum assembly that was on back order from the manufacturer. Glad to see the video on a factory tuned Mustang. Looking forward to actually seeing this one shipped come Monday June 1 hopefully.

PLEASE HELP! How do i remove the pre-installed bushing for the throttle body TPS sensor? It's really lodged in there. You guys should not have pre installed that piece.
Did you ever get it out? I just ran into the same issue today!
I took a small drill bit and made swiss cheese of it until it fell apart.

So is the little red vacuum lines that’s on the upper intake plenum is for the PCV?!?!?!? I’ve been trying to figure out what the purpose of those lines and where they go for a while so I would really appreciate a answer and thank you.
Yes, it is the PCV connection.
Anyone know where that plenum bracket and screw go if you want to use it??

I have the 75mm trickflow plenum coming I ordered from you guys I'm using a 75mm throttle body Also do you think I need to go to 24lb injectors or is factory injectors fine

SO FAR ON MY 98 GT 5 SPEED MODS ARE OFFROAD X PIPE AND FENDER WELL COLD AIR IM GOING TO SWAP INTAKE MANIFOLD WITH TRICKFLOW ITS EXPENSIVE BUT IT WOULD BE WORTH IT
Mustang98 007 you're better off doing a PI swap, those stock NPI heads will remain a huge restriction. try the PI swap (heads, cams and intake) before you get a trickflow intake
Samuel Paniagua i have pi intake when i first got the car does that mean i should have 99-04 cyl heads
Mustang98 007 some people just do the intake, the intake alone is about a 15whp increase, there's a few videos online that will show you how to identify what heads you have

if they're the PI heads from a 99-04 mustang GT, they'll have "PI" cast on the heads above the exhaust ports
My 2003 Mustang GT has CAI, X pipes, 3.73 gears and 75 mm throttle body.
126k miles and I paid 4,000$ for it. :)
I wonder how much power it puts down? If I had to guess maybe around 270?
Angel Gutierrez I got a 2000 gt with slp headers, x pipe, and loudmouth exhaust, with a stage 2 clutch, under pulleys, short throw shifter, lowering springs, and custom rims. I trade 3 of my fire arms for it and they only costed me about $2300 lol

CallMeZix Great car. Just check head gasket, I think they used plastic head gaskets first couple of years of new edge. 03 and 04 use metals ones. Besides that it’s the same as a 2004 Mustang.
What do u do with that black bushing kit comes with?
It's an insert that gets installed into the recess on the throttle body where the actuation arm for the butterfly valve is. Some aftermarket throttle bodies require it, and some don't. Check out the video that I linked for more info on the bushing.

I need an answer ASAP yall .I got a bbk 78 mm throttle body and bbk intake .After I installed them when I just tap my gas it’ll die but start right back up .Do I need more fuel flow like better injectors or what?

does the 00 throttle body from a v8 fit on a 00 vsix intake. If not how to a make it fit, possibly machine my own spacer? *****
James T they won't fit, try getting a windstar (minivan) intake first and then maybe later upgrade the TB with one of the ones LMR offers. the WS intake will be far more beneficial (10-12whp) and way cheaper.
Samuel Paniagua what transmission should I swap for my t350 tranny on my 01' GT with cai everything pretty much stock.? I hear people swapping transmissions off old foxbody mustangs into 01's-04's
At the 3:09 mark you will see there is no black plastic piece inside the female side of where the sensor attaches to. Mine came with a plastic piece installed in it and I can't get it out!!! The sensor will not fit back in place with the plastic insert in! Why was this sent to me like this? Was it a screw up or am I supposed to gouge out the plastic piece? Anyone have this happen to them?
Just bought and same, came with it preinstalled. Did you ever get it out?

I bought this throtle body and I can't bolt the gas wire because the hole is smaller than needed!!!

You can use whatever tune you want. I would personally choose a local tuner. -Landan

Man that's a lot of money for only a 5 horsepower gain.... so sad.
So with a tune you get like 10 hp not worth it at all
