You've been a great help with info on gel blasters on all your vids before this one. This one, I love the gun, but it has shown me one thing - they are not that accurate over 20m. It would be good in the future to attempt to be impartial and instead of just making one shot (which you could so with a cheap desert eagle gravity fed blaster with enough attempts). A run down of the attempts and shots made combined with the considerations would be vastly more helpful. That blaster is badass though. Very badass.

I've seen contradicting responses, but does the JM M4 Gen 8 not have a threads that support alloy/metal handguards and buffertubes? That is why you had to cut into the receiver to install the adapter?
Gen 8 doesn not support an alloy handguard stock. In needs an adapter.

Johnathon Smith depends what state you live in mate. Qld completely legal to purchase, others it depends. Look up tactical edge, m4a1, renegade blasters. They all have stores in brisbane if that helps.

This is a gun. I have a completed a Pre App and my cert 3 in Gun Smithing in Polytechnic and have done 10 tours in vietnam and gallipoli, do not try and correct me.
BAHAHAHAHA first off a its not a gun, if you went up to anyone in the military and said that, they would steady you in your tracks and rip you a new hole. Even if it was close it would be classified as a "rifle". a gun is referred to in artillery, or can be a hand gun. I suggest going back to feeding your oscar pairs.

Am I the only one that looks at the bride seat and wonders what else is being modified? Any chance at listing some details on the blaster, like spring size, barrel specs and fps? haha yeah 6 pack of V would be great! barrel is 50mm, and it is a M4A1 reciever, with charging handle mod and fully upgraded gearbox with metal gears and 1.4mm airsoft spring.
Low Guido's Chop Shop all Airsoft guns come with metal gears.

Hey mate, awesome vid! just wondering how you fit the AEG handle onto your gearbox shell? assuming thats how its done. I recently bought a TTM nylon receiver not knowing its basically an AEG receiver. So i bought an AEG handle thinking it would be easy to fit on. haha wrong
Yeah mate there was a lot of cutting, drilling, dremel work and glue involved. I don't recommend it.
Damn i thought so. I'm too invested to stop now. I was thinking of making up a small metal plate with all the holes drilled out to fit underneath the gearbox where the handle would screw into. Cheers mate

What would you say the best blaster is atm? I’m super keen to get into this but would be a bit useless with missing guns. Would love something like this but wouldn’t be able to upgrade the receiver as I’ve only just discovered Gel blasters here in Australia
the M4A1 or the SCAR V2 are the go to blasters at the moment... but there are some good things coming.. the wells M4 and the SKD M4 ss and the jingming Gen9 is only around the corner..

@@GoonsackSteve from what I have seen it looks like more or less the same box, but with a mechanical semiautomatic cutout for an actual working select fire. And mag priming. No real biggie in my opinion.

I'm getting more and more curious about these gel blasters the more I watch your videos, will a V2 airsoft gearbox fit? I saw a P*Ed gel blasters so I'm guessing they do, also do they use standard aeg hop rubbers and if they do has anyone flat hopped or r-hopped one? Also I run hpa on my airsoft M4 so I have alot of good AEG parts for sale like a original Lonex V2 gearbox shell and I bought a 2020 Krytac PDW-M to hpa so I have all brand new internals and motor for sale
Was gonna use the parts for my backup M4 but I'll part with them for the sake of science
its at the point now where gel blasters are literally just airsoft with 7.5mm barrels and electric mags. but shhh dont tell anyone. airsoft is illegal.

I bought one of those metal buffer tubes from Ebay for my M4A1 and for the life of me I can't get it to go the right way up, only upside down. There are two different size notches and they seem to be on the wrong side. Just my luck to get a dodgy one.

Hi mate, great video, blaster looks very impressive even if that scope is way OP. Some suggestions.
1. Links to where you buy the items from would be appreciated
2. Costs of items so people can get an idea of the cost involved
3. Better explanations of the custom works, would even enjoy seeing how you fitted the grip and crafted the nylon piece.
But overall, a great video mate, well done.
I am making something new, I'll be making another video with a few more details, but based on the gen 9 so some mods are a bit easier.

Inspired me to make a dmr build, she’s at 44 meters and only puts 310 FPS... the trick? A good hop up and controlled grown gels

I would of checked the can before shooting it or shown the can after to see if marks were left from the gels............ I saw some gels fall short of the can.....
You can see the can move when I hit it. Nothing fell short.
with a barrel that long, the only thing it does best is dragging the gel ball----> decrease fps, as i know there are no cylinder for gel blaster that can match that barrel of yours
the cylinder to barrel ratio is 1.8:1 which is an almost ideal ratio for efficiency. next you will be telling me that I was only 10m away.
There is no way can get ratio 1.8 with that 50cm barrel and cylinder.

Mate, look down the inside of your barrel in a good light,..... see the deep scratches down the left side?
Its making the ball go right but your hopup pulls it back left, i bet you have it on an angle to the left to compensate.

there is no angle on the hopup, I'm not quite sure where you can see these scratches? can you timestamp the video?
Sorry, i mean, the way the balls come out of the barrel strongly suggests imperfections in the barrel.
I cannot see the scratches they would be on the interior of the barrel.
If you can rotate the barrel in the T piece 180%, you might see the opposite effect.

I honestly don't know why you'd put a scope on something that shoots 20m, it's just ridiculous. I used to shoot big bore which is 308 at 600yards with ring sights, occasionally I'd nail a 'maggie' which is hitting a target the size of a ten cent piece. At 20 yards you should be able to shoot that thing intuitively.

Its a M4A1 reciever with all the bolt on mods to make it a MK12 MOD1 or as close to it as I could get.
