yes you can..make sure to reduce gel soaking time in order to set the gel at the right size for your barrel..once you get the right size, ready to shoot and splatter like paintball 😎
Just buy the right size BB,s , adjust the barrel slightly to fit the BB smoothly not fall out, and thats all, 6.9mm bb for 7mm barrel , 7mm BB for 7.1-2m barrel etc ,, Ebay 100 Nylon Bearings at your barrel size, forget the mods.. using a Golden eagle 5.1 with slight modified gel holder lips, Green Gas, Though IMO its not a toy when using BB,s
Good job mate, i looked into moding me M4a1 when it first came out. Lotsa ballz out there, stone,plastic, rubber, but the hard bit is sizing. BUT use a different barrel guts like in the vid an u should b sweet to run stock airsoft BBs . Like Naoki says 'its about sealing'. Have fun ppl. Thx man.

Just do what I did, buy 7mm BBS, no conversion necessary. Works perfect for gbb pistols. Very very accurate since all the bbs are the exact same size. Doesn't work as well for my aeg though as I have to tip the blaster forward in order for the BBS to load. Works well for gbb pistols because the mag uses a spring to push the BBS up.

the best thing about this is you can shoot gel ball at the size of 6mm the same as bb, just soak the gel ball untill it reach the same size as your original bb, so that your new mag can be used without having the need to modify the mag

yes you can, the airsoft gun is more powerful in terms of firepower, it is suitable to be used to shoot gel ball, but there's a way for not modding your airsoft rifle at all, just soak the gel ball just enough size to fit with your barrel and you're good to go.
You can find one at AliExpress or Amazon, just search 6mm stainless steel tube.. make sure that 6mm is the Inside Diameter, check the product description properly
They also have realistic colors available but a bit expensive.. Normally a well known brand if I'm not mistaken was Jin Ming brand, good quality and realistic color
@zizou Lamiri Yes you can. P90 is more easy, you just need to mod your magazine by making sure that the hole where the bullet fall into the rifle have the size of 6.5mm radius. The rest is just the same as in the video, you need to change your barrel.

@zizou Lamiri 1. As far as I know, max size for gel ball is around 8.5mm. 2. To know what size you need for the ammo, just use 'internal caliper' to measure the inside diameter of your barrel. To get the perfect size of gel ball, I recommend you record your gel ball soaking time, try soaking for an hour and check if the gel fits perfect or not, if not, soak for another 15 minutes and check again the size until you see the gel ball fits perfectly in the barrel.
@zizou Lamiri if it's new out of the box but the battery is from 2019, I think it is still good because it's never been used..the battery life will only degrade if it has been used many times...

The one in the video is not a battery operated gel blaster. It’s just a manually operated. But this trick works fine with battery operated gel blaster too.
So theoreticly, you could just do nothing to a gel blaster, but upgrad then size of the BB? Example, instead of a gel blaster that shoots 7-8mm gel balls, I could buy 7-8mm BB's and be fine? SOmething seems... not right about that.
you can just buy 7mm/8mm BB but the spring inside is too weak to shoot a BB weights more than 0.15gram..I have tried shooting a 6mm BB weighting at 0.23grams and the bullet fps has reduced a lot..0.15grams BB is the best and powerful fps for this rifle..If you can get 7mm-8mm weighting at 0.15grams it shouldn't be any problem to shoot it😁
yes , it is very easy with 1 slight mod to standard barrel, just make sure it exits the barrel , try ebay and plastic bearings 6.94mm thru to 7.1mm for barrel sizing {7mm barrel i use 6.9mm } , It wont be a toy anymore but a personal safety device imo

because the original barrel is not accurately 7mm, plus minus tolerance about 2mm..if the barrel is too loose, the bb won't shoot far enough because of the leaking gap

Not as easy as you might think. 7mm BB means heavier bullet, I don't think it will shoot far because I've tested a heavier 6mm bb and the result will reduce the speed of the bullet

The bigger the bb size, the heavier it becomes and hence reducing the speed of bullet.
So all you need is a light bb then your fine I have a m4A1 gel blaster would it work with that ?

So theoreticly, you could just do nothing to a gel blaster, but upgrad then size of the BB?
Example, instead of a gel blaster that shoots 7-8mm gel balls, I could buy 7-8mm BB's and be fine?
SOmething seems... not right about that.
you can just buy 7mm/8mm BB but the spring inside is too weak to shoot a BB weights more than 0.15gram..I have tried shooting a 6mm BB weighting at 0.23grams and the bullet fps has reduced a lot..0.15grams BB is the best and powerful fps for this rifle..If you can get 7mm-8mm weighting at 0.15grams it shouldn't be any problem to shoot it😁

yes , it is very easy with 1 slight mod to standard barrel, just make sure it exits the barrel , try ebay and plastic bearings 6.94mm thru to 7.1mm for barrel sizing {7mm barrel i use 6.9mm } , It wont be a toy anymore but a personal safety device imo

Why not just buy 7mm bb??? No need to modify stuff
because the original barrel is not accurately 7mm, plus minus tolerance about 2mm..if the barrel is too loose, the bb won't shoot far enough because of the leaking gap

kalau nk tukar dari airsoft ke gel blaster xperlu mod apa2 dah..rendam je gel ball tu sampai dia sama saiz dgn airsoft punya peluru and boleh terus tembak mcm biasa..(tips: rendam beberapa biji gel ball pastu rekodkan masa dia membesar sampai saiz peluru airsoft berapa minit, dh dpt masa rendaman, baru rendam semua gel ball based on masa yg direkod tadi)

Not as easy as you might think. 7mm BB means heavier bullet, I don't think it will shoot far because I've tested a heavier 6mm bb and the result will reduce the speed of the bullet
