I had my 660s for so long and must have replaced the pads at least 5 or 6 times. I never applied much pressure. Neither with original replacements, nor cheaper ones (but the latter was quite loose sometimes). I bought your's now and already wanted to send them back, because they didn't fit at all. Luckily I watched this video, and this was the first time in so many years that I actually understood how it works. I feel stupid now, lol. Thanks! Will probably buy your's again next time.
10/10 confirming it works! Tldr; find the locking mechanism of the earpads and connect them. People on reddit say to reuse the original foam liner to retain native sound quality. But there may be benefits to a new one? 🤷♂️ good luck & happy headphone birthday!

@GodslayerXUL no worries, glad you watched and it all worked out 😁
Thanks for the tutorial!! It was super easy and so much less intimidating than I thought. My 6 year old 58X Jubilees feel brand new!

Hi love your informative videos, I am looking for a video replacing earpads on Sennheiser HD 560s, scared of damaging the headphones.

Are the fenestrated sheepskin pads the exact same pads as the Dekoni? They look exactly the same in pictures, but these are half the price.
@@chrisbianchi8876 Better products, better prices is my modo. My pads are dual foam, not single foam
