If you read this FFG, I know we'll get normal expansions, but please consider an expansion that would just add a ton of cards for replayability and variety!
No money in it. But if you add a few cards here and there with a bunch of cheap plastic now that is an 30-40$ expansion EASILY. They didn't even fix Fallout up to this point, not even in the Expansion. The last game they really made out of love for the game itself and not money was TI4, THAT was a game they treated with the respect it deserved but most of the licenced games these days feel VERY cashgrabby.
And thanks to admissions EXACTLY like that: FF and other more mercenary firms will sell you components (like enough %#!^%^ dice) that SHOULD come in the box but too many fanboy consumers like you and your 21 pals make it clear: "WE MUST CONSUME! TAKE OUT MONEY!" smFh
Played this Yesterday. TLDR Fun! Upgraded Han Solo with the Millennium Falcon, Warp Drive, and Smugglee's Space mods. I was FLYING across the galaxy and knocking out Illegal Cargo left and right. Oh and EVERYONE hated me .
Game seems like a good mix of Merchant of Venus with Eldritch Horror mechanics. Interesting, although more players would be better. Hoping for expansions. Heh. Camera quality seems low? Not actually possible to read the cards, and I am using max youtube quality. This seemed a much more focused and organized playthrough than the Journeys in Middle Earth one, which is nice.
I know right? So here's the grenade launcher upgrade. *puts card of display for 30 seconds* takes it off without showing the card camera. Pay attention to the stream that you're filming. was he browsing reddit or something? lol
This is looking pretty exciting and more streamlined than firefly. I like it

Runebound + Arkham Horror + Firefly with a Star Wars theme? INSTABUY! By the way, you could include more than six dice in the box. It is a bit sad to see the demo game of this with players having to re-roll dice because there are not enough of them...
That’s fantasy flight for you. Even though the game is “complete” they still had to get you to buy something else. I’m just going to use my original x wing dice
Derek cheated at 1:39:16 He had 2 fame then he gained 2 more for the bounty. Then he added 1 fame for his character goal that he didn't complete for a total of 5. They caught it but he never downed his fame back down to 4 lol. Do I get a free game copy for finding this? :P
Well, I am a big fan of games like Firefly, Merchant of Venus and Xia. Apparently I now have to add this one to my collection. You've already got me all in on Imperial Assault, Rebellion and Armada. Thanks FFG...
Just bought but haven't played yet. Playthrough vid is super helpful. My only concern is the decision making and player interaction seems to be on the low side, but I'll find out when I play my first game sometime this week (hopefully). The thematic/storytelling elements seem to be pretty good, though.

Question. Ig-88 has the ability to steal droid crew from someone in "the same space" does that mean I have to be on the exact same space as somebody, or doe sit mean I have to be in the same section with two planets etc?

Looks good. Wish they'd gone the mini route instead of standees. And thicker cardboard for the ship boards. Star Wars Sandbox game in 2-3 hours is awesome.
agree, would have loved ship miniatures instead of standees, like Xia....will probably not get it as it does look alot like Xia, just with the Star Wars filter over it.
I like this however I own firefly the board game and this is VERY similar... without ffg's classic art on the cards and no miniatures... so sadly I'll have to pass on this one
Yep, a Firefly clone with a Star Wars theme. Didn't FF get bent out of shape when WizKids cloned X-wing in their Star Trek game? And here they are making the Firefly board game with a re-label. I really expected better from FF, but I guess talented game designers are hard to find since FF will not accept game designs from independent designers.
Star Wars meets Traveller RPG or Firefly. Once again guys, where's the close ups? Camera's too far away. Like the new LOTR game I think I'm on the fence but it seems interesting enough to keep in my maybe list. Need to see more. Not really liking the curved board though. Is it really necessary? Also think new dice with different icons would've been better not just reusing xwing dice. Just a late add to my comments. No more Star Wars games after this guys. It's flogged to death. Time to go back to the Android universe and revise Android the board game or card game whichever is workable. There must be a good reason why this game has been awaiting reprint since 2018. Maybe a revised edition is already in development.
So this is a 65$ game that doesn't come with miniatures or a game board (except the official gamemat you can buy for 35$) and 90% of the artwork and iconography is copied from X-Wing. Hell they even use the same dice. It's really sad to see what has become of you guys ever since Asmodee bought you out. You were never cheap but usually you always got your moneys worth or even more so. But this is just a sad and overpriced franchise cashgrab. The game isn't bad but 65$ for less than 200 cards with recycled artwork and a bit of cardboard is an insult to your customers...

This has more in common with Arkham Horror than the game they are calling Akrham Horror 3rd edition. I might actually buy this.

at least it gives you enough for 1 persons attack, unlike the x-wing core set.
