So happy running into the The Fung Bros.today again. I really appreciate them featuring the restaurants in Chinatown to help our community. If you do see them, don’t hesitate to tell them your favorite restaurants. They are super friendly. I ran into them last night and told them a few restaurants that I hope they will feature one day. Coincidentally, I ran into them today at Carol's Bun, which is one of the restaurants I told them about. I’m not affiliated with any of the restaurants I’ve told them, but these are some of the restaurants with owners who are genuine nice people and have great food with great prices. I was actually very touched to see that they kept their promise to feature them. Can't wait to see it in their next episode!

OMG OMG OMG thank you so much for this. As a new yorker, it's been confusing to know which restaurants are closed vs. which just have odd hours now. This is a good guide to go back to supporting local chinatown businesses, so I cannot thank you ENOUGH.

I remember when I was a kid in the early 80's, my uncle will take me to Chinatown to buy food for the whole family on the weekends. We usually stop by the local video store and rent some VHS tape of Chinese dramas. I would eat and watch movies while the adults play mahjong. I think that was pretty typical of Asian families back then, too bad those memorable days are long gone.

Today I went to King Dumpling and am eating the Fried Pork Buns. Wow - so good. They were out of duck for scallion pancake but the pork was really good. I’ll be back.
