Yall finally went to noodle village. I be telling people about that place for a minute now. Joes Shanghai is overrated but you cant knock them at all when it comes to the soup dumplings. I cant wait to check out some more places.
Chinatown born and raised! My parents used to have a cellphone store on 1 Allen St and 388 Cafe was just a few doors down from my grandma's apartment. They fed me all through elementary school days. What a throwback. Great video, super nostalgic and you guys hit up some of the classics!

Thank u so much for the appreciation shout-out for the affordable businesses. Growing up in restaurant business we worked 7 days a week for 12 hours a day and we barely made our rent for years putting out quality food. It took 10 years B4 we saved enuff to buy our building and finally start making a profit. In those 10 years we only raised our prices twice in fear it wud deter business. This was back in the 80s so real estate prices were way lower than now. All this to say, buy local, support family owned business especially now as families struggle to recoup from COVID loss whether it's ur local Bao place, taqueria or halal cart.

Was at M&W bakery just before CNY and purchased their delicious fried sesame balls, small little unassuming pastry shop and help is terrific. Also love Nonya on grand st for the hainan chicken, looking forward to trying their curry.

Never been to NY or even USA, but always loved the way you experience the food of the world and bring it to the world. So many countries and cities i wanna visit but not possible atm. Love the asian cousine but my city just offer the westerniesed version and not what i'm looking for so can't wait to travel and experience the real stuff i've only been able to dream about. You guys do a great job bringing the hype for great asian food and make me hype and hungry

I miss cooking at home. I’m not sure if I cooked my-rice consistently but I know for sure I didn’t need any other meats. My-rice was good enough on its own. My Korea manager used to cook kimchi fried rice with jalapenos; we worked at a mall making fresh hot fries and grilled subs. I like that fried rice that you won’t need any side meats or sides in general. Thai fried rice is pretty hearty. I like my-rice with a lot of vegetables and meat. I guess home cooking isn’t comparable to outside restaurant eating.
This series should be continued! I would like to recommend S wan cafe which is also on Eldridge st, very famous for their Hong style milk tea and their authentic Hong style food. Carol’s bun also in Chinatown has very authentic Cantonese style food. There’s also Morning glory bakery in Rego Park with freshly made Hong style bread and baked goods! 😊❤️

Hey guys, it's amazing that you are doing this for Chinatown NYC! just one tiny thing, that's a piece of napoleon cake at Hong Bakery On Mott Street, not a Neapolitan cake. Napoleon cakes in general are super popular in China and you can find some of the best Napoleon cakes (Chinese versions) at some of the most traditional bakeries Beijing or Shanghai (Daoxiangcun in Beijing for example).
