Thank you so much it’s a dream of ours to visit Cape Town! Maybe one day will be able to do a food tour there. Thanks 1 million for subscribing watching, and commenting. It really means the world to us!
try the food courts in Flushing-- you seem to be in love with Chinese food. Stop at the Queens Museum in Flushing Meadow park to see the panorama of NYC. Go see the Louis Armstrong House in Corona. All along the 7 Train.
Thanks so much! We visit some incredible places and eat some amazing food! Tokyo, Yokohama, Hakone, Kamakura, Osaka, Fukuoka, Saporro and Hakodate! So much to share!
I agree that slices are better than whole pies for exactly the reason that you stated. It dries the crust a bit and then thrown back in the 600+ degree oven makes it crispier than it ever would be when baked only once. I make pizza at home and if my family has patience, they let me take it out of the oven and let it cool for at least 20 minutes. The whole time the oven is still at full blast and then I serve up slices after throwing them back on the stone for about 3-5 minutes. So much better!
“If my family has patience”😂. That’s a great idea! We have a buddy who just got a pizza oven in his backyard, we will tell him about this for the next pizza party!
I’m my we’ve been there!! It’s the one with all the boxing photos! Great spot for cheap drinks, we will include it in our next visit! Can you reccomend any local halal carts?
@@HeresGoodTravel "halal guys", for chicken and beef...55th and 6th ave. They have store fronts but the original carts on the corner are best. Also, for falafel "mammouns" on macdougald st. In the west village.
Thanks so much! We spend a lot of time researching but it’s really hard to hit all the good ones, stay within our budget and eat all the food😂. We’ve been to NYC a bunch so we kinda have a routine and then venture off to try some new places as well. We filmed a bunch that didn’t make the cut.
All the Chinatown places already reviewed. You must had waited forever on Chinese New year! Nice spin on everything. $4.50 a breakfast sandwich is too much for a New Yorker.
Thanks so much! The line was pretty nuts and we almost didn’t get it since we are so impatient. We are glad we waited! If you know any cool hole in the wall spots let us know. We are actually in NYC right now!
Hi Brandon and Alyssa from Canada. You said in this video that you’re travelling for a year on $30,000. I wonder if you almost exhausted your $3000 savings? I know you travel on the cheap, but just wondering how far your $30,000 have come to in New York City. And a comer said that you were going to Japan next. Are you still travelling on that $30,000?
Thanks so much! So this video was a continuation of our year of travel with that $30,000. We decided to leapfrog the Mexico series ahead of the Japan portion. So the Mexico series was not included in that money. We are going to be posting Japan, Seoul, Viet Nam, and Australia that was all on that $$$ including this New York video. All told we spent $33,000 and made it 312 days total. The Mexico series cost us less than $6,000 so if we would’ve had $40,000 we could have made it the whole year. In between the end of the Asia stuff and Mexico we were home editing a ton and bartending to save up. Sorry that it’s so complicated. Eventually we will make a video about this but our issue is that the way we travel we film way more content than we can keep up with posting, especially when we are on long trips because we would rather just explore and eat than edit on the road😂. Hopefully this makes sense lol t
@@HeresGoodTravel hi Alyssa, thank you so much for your reply. I’m sure all your subs would like to hear about the breakdown of your $30,000 adventure. I’m Japanese so I’m really looking forward to Japan adventures. I know I will never get to Japan, because of my mobility issues and other things, so I’ll just have to live vicariously through you guys. Thanks again.
I absolutely love your food reviews. The enthusiasm you show for the food in each city etc is delightful. A new fan from Cape Town, South Africa.

Roast pig is the one on the right that has the crispy skin. Roast pork is the middle one that is red in color and is sweet.
Thank you so much for the clarification. We actually tend to eat combination Chinese platters like that sometimes we never know which is which.😂
SO awesome!!! You guys are spectac!
Thanks so much🤙
Booking a flight just to see Jose
lol no doubt! If I lived in that neighborhood I would eat all meals there to say what’s up
Jimmy's corner bar, about three avenue blocks east of rudy's on 44th st. For next time. 😉

Jose at Round the Clock Deli fed you right.
I'm ready to go to NY just to try his place! And I'm on the opposite coast...
Dude isn’t that guy amazing!? That sandwich was RIDICULOUS! We don’t have anything that good in San Diego
Hahaha same! That guy was a sandwich magician

Mayo?...salt pepper ketchup guys.
Pro tip! We will give it a shot next time in NYC!
Raised in NYC, the only thing we placed on Pizza was Pepperoni, extra cheese or mushrooms. Don't understand what is happening now.
😂we feel yeah! We eat anything so we are here for it but Pepperoni Mushroom is the go to! People making pickle pizzas these days🤣
