This video editor is really good. There's literally not one boring frame. I grew up in New York my whole life and this vid definitely captures the essence of NYC.
I very rarely comment on anything on TH-cam. But having watched thousands of videos from various channels over 10+ years this is one of the best to date. The fact you have all of the chefs, all of the famous and some well known spots and new ones. Is genuinely impressive, if this doesn’t sit at multi million views in a few months. I’ll be in shock. Love to see it lads, especially being from the UK 👌🏻🤌🏻 Potentially change the name to really make people aware how many chefs you have in this episode, it’s an all start line up.
Probably the most enjoyable 40 minutes of content I've watched in a hot minute! Toying with doing 5 days in NYC for food sometime late spring/early summer next year; was originally thinking Queens for the cheaper streetfood, but some of these recommendations look right up my street!
Back when I was a young (and dumb) line cook in the late 90s in NYC trying to keep up and learn everything, THE place to eat after hours was Blue Ribbon down in Soho ( with a matching sushi bar right next door) ALL of the young guns would go down after closing out their kitchens and eat and gossip and laugh and tell stories and get into arguments and hug and go home and do it all over again. The food and the atmosphere was phenomenal. Legendary joint with INCREDIBLE food! THE DEAD RABBIT was a secret to everyone except the regulars and you had to know where it was at because it was behind an unmarked door with an unlisted telephone number. MAMOUN'S on MacDougal near Washington Square was THE best falafel in NYC at $2 a pop for heaven in a pita bread. It wasn't odd to see Martha Stewart or various rock stars standing in line at 2am waiting for THE BEST FALAFEL EVER! CAFE DANTE was a few doors down from MAMOUN'S and was the perfect last stop for excellent coffee, espresso, brandy and cordials and Italian pastries - used to see Harry Dean Stanton and Al Pacino (not together) and various supermodels laughing and smoking and relaxing there. And yes, Black Velvets at THE WHITE HORSE TAVERN in Chelsea. GUS"S in Astoria for epic REAL Greek Taverna food. GRAND CENTRAL OYSTER BAR in Grand Central Station, SMITH & WOLLENSKY on the upper East Side, PATSY"S for pizza, RUSS & DAUGHTERS, ZABAR'S, SOUEN in SoHo.......and yes - VELSEKA!........ahhhhh, I miss NYC!
God sent His only son Jesus to die for our sins on the cross. This was the ultimate expression of God's love for us. Then God raised Jesus from the dead on the third day. As a Brooklyn kid born and raised thanks guys for turning me on to a few spots. It took you a while to get to New York on your channel but you obviously love it and you're killing it! Do me a favor, get on the subway next time and go to Bed Stuy and Crown Heights. Much love!
Yeah this has that Vice like top shelf feel to it, combined with infectiously fun vibes. Everyone looks like they're having a great time, and that matters almost as much as the food. Brilliant vid
Beautiful cinematography!….and great choices in the spots you chose. I see many of my favorites, especially the last spot 👌 you did this New Yorker proud! 🗽
