I love the mod, but it does feel a bit ironic. How to convert your 3D printer back into a 2D printer ;)
Fantastic thanks mate. I hope to get mine up and running soon.
really cool design :D could you make a video about inkscape and how you generate the gcode?
Great tutorial, Andrew 💞
Thanks Marty! It's like a Cricut, but louder and slower and a little less accurate! 😂
excellent design and video Andrew! 👏😎
Thanks, I appreciate it!
This is what I was looking for. I would like to ask how you generated the gcode? I have a 2 stepper+1 servo plotter but I want to make a 3 stepper plotter. I would like to see how you operate the z-axis from the gcode. Did you manually create the gcode or is there some software you used for it. Thank you.
Damn I’m excited the get going on this!!!
Awesome, good luck!
Fun fact, I have designed(more like remixed) a mount that allows the hot end to stay in place, the addition of a bl touch, and has spring articulation. Btw, it's 99 percent 3d printed, needing only a spring from a clothespin, and 3 M3 screws. Oh, and it's 100 percent free on my thingiverse page...
can you post the link? i will try ir! thank you!
Helpful info!
@@jockpunch hopefully that helps
@@keylay9453 Can you post the thingiverse number? Thanks :)
Woot-Woot!!!
Would love to be able to do this on my Ender 3 S1, do you you if there is a part available to acheive this?
Does the S1 have a published carriage assembly? If so, you should be able to just modify my file to fit!
Hi. Awesome mod. It's possible to get or buy only stl files?
That's on the eventual roadmap!
is there a way to get the file for this? the tindie links doesn't have any listings that are still open
It's available for free on Github! github.com/AndrewSink/pltr_toolhead
@@AndrewSink Wow thank you so much!
Do we have to change the firmware for this too?
Nope!
are you no longer selling the files?
Nope, I'm giving them away! You can find the files, calibration prints, and other information on Github: github.com/AndrewSink/pltr_toolhead
@@AndrewSink You rock, thank you very much for these files :)
Sold out? :(
Don't worry, I've got you covered! It's available for free now on Github! github.com/AndrewSink/pltr_toolhead
@@AndrewSink oh nice !
I'd like to see this adapted so you don't have to remove the head. Just snap it over the fan box.
Not a bad idea!
i want this help me get it.
