Your ball strikes sounded awesome Michael. I’d probably go 4 and 3 utility in my bag. I was fit for these last year with the hazardous 6.0 shaft. Too e pensive at the moment. Great clubs!

I am wondering whether you will do comparison test among U505 2 iron against other utility irons with 18 degree in loft such as Titleist U510, TM SIM UDI, Ping G425 Crossover, Wilson Staff Model Utility iron, Cleveland Launcher UHX Utility, and Srixon ZX Utility.

Mike, what do you think is the minimum swing speed required to generate sufficient height and spin with the 1 iron to make it viable? How does that differ from the 2 iron at only 2* more loft?
I've got an old school one iron that got handed down from an uncle, doesn't have as much head as these new ones and you can give it a lazy smooth swing and it'll go well or absolutely rip into it. It's more about hitting it centre otherwise it's a nightmare. I can't hit drivers so works well for me

would depend on strike conditions too, but i would think 100mph+ or you wont hit it farther than a 2
