I love the Tour edge utility iron I have the 4 iron and it goes the same as a 19 degree hybrid

I got the 1 iron with a AD hyb 85g shaft last week, love it already!! I play off 11.5 and hate hybrids (always go left!) this flights great and easy to get in the air - perfect for windy winter, and so far goes 240ish carry (20yarfs longer then my 7 wood), it’s replaced my 5 wood for winter, my replace my 3 wood if it starts carrying 260+ 😂👍🏻 it’s gonna be a game changer for winter I hope

i'm considering the 1 as mostly an off tee driving iron, but not sure if my 90/95 swing speed with a club that length is enough for that loft. I have a Muira LCL 601 18deg driving iron that goes 200carry on a good hit , but i dont find the center enough. The 505 look more forgiving with maybe a faster face.

@@krusher74 honestly don’t worry about getting height using the 1 iron u505, it really does get some good height! And very forgiving, I have a few clips on my channel with shot tracers if you wanna see, I swing roughly same speed as you - 95+ I call it a convertible hybrid (but I alway hook hybrids). You won’t regret the 1! But if worries just get the 2 or 3 iron and get it lofted down 2°, so you will have a slightly shorter club but with low loft

After a fitting yesterday and testing long irons, ordered U505 2 iron. Takes off like a rocket and so easy to hit it feels like cheating.
