I'm just beginning to 3d print cosplays and this video has helped me tremendously! I love the way you explain and demonstrate each step, super helpful and easy to follow. :)
Cosplay is my bag! www.gaetsy.com
Excellent intro, thank you!
Thank you, perfect instruction, I will update my Creality Print Slicer 🤝
Thank you for this video.
Very helpful ! Thanks you a lot :)
thanks, very helpful
Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. I am sooo glad you are making videos. I am somewhat new to 3D printing and modeling and have found it quite intriguing and fun. Keeps my mind occupied from the world. Anyway, I just got rid of my Ender 3 v2 and got a Ender 3 v3 KE. I am having problems with getting Cura to work with the KE, which is what I started with and had no problems until I got the KE. Creality said that I need to use Creality Print, of coarse, so I am learning Creality Print as my new slicer. Thank you for your instruction. Very easy to follow. The quality of the video itself is a little blurry when I view it, but not a huge problem. Thanks again. I have subscribed and looking forward to more. I have not gone to your channel yet but I will right away.🤓👍
My friend, the video is in 4k. Check your YT settings. I like Cura (and have a course on it), but it's time to move on. Learn CP5, and Orca. This is just where we at, on these newer machines.
Thank you very much.
Excellent explanation. About 3 years ago I tried 3D printing with an ender but it was quite discouraging at the time, but now I've had the k1C for about 2 months, I'm new to 3D printing but it's an excellent printer. Obviously I studied the machine and the activity more in depth. I am using a filament dryer, vacuum bags, humidity control (humidity here ranges from 60 to 85% and I have kept it at 15%) and I have obtained excellent ABS parts.
I had Creality Print version 4.8 but it didn't show the update, so I downloaded it from Creality. Seems pretty good.
One feature that I found interesting is applying different supports (normal and tree) to different objects.
Success 🚀
Epic. 🏆🏆
Also, how do I set the pause to change filament to do a multi color print?
Nice video, very helpful. I've noticed that your supports are hollow though, while mine aren't. Is that like a setting hidden somewhere?
Solid Tree supports is absolute BS. Also, so are hollow. I am not a fan of HOLLOW. I want a few % of infill in my Tree support. It looks like, Support Density, is not working properly in CP5, and will need to be addressed. For now, to avoid hollow, switch your "STYLE" under "TYPE" to "DEFAULT"
Can i printed PAHT-CF and Difference version of this Pa-12CF,PA6-GF ... Filament Nylon ?
Thank you for your video. In your opinion, is Orca slicer the top dog right now? Also, I wanted to upgrade my Ender 3 S1 hotend, but the thermistor male connector was wayyy too small... and you didn't seem to have that issue. Do you know more about that? Did Creality change their female connector on their newer Ender 3 S1 models? Thanks again, you are by far the clearest 3D printing youtuber out there
I like Orca, but, Bambu Studio is my GO-TO, then Orca. I also like Cura allot, and I'm good with Cura, but, it's definitely lost it's grip on the market in recent months. Learning Orca, IMO, at this point, is a must.
There is a sprite, with a different connector, but I don't think it's super common. I helped someone deal with that recently. Which S1 do you have, and what Hot end were you hoping to put on it? Do you know the board model # on your Sprite?
@@3DRundown Hi, I don't know why but my initial answer disappeared. I my S1 is the standard, non-pro version with an extruder that uses a cri-2161v16 board. The hotend was "Official Sprite Extruder Heater Block Upgrade Kit - 300℃ High Temperature Pro, Bimetal Copper Titanium Heatbreak Plated Copper Nozzle, Compatible with Ender 3 S1,S1 Pro, CR-10 Smart Pro" by Yoopai. Earlier today I ordered a V10 board to match it, can you confirm if it will work please?
Thanks a lot for the excellent tutorial, I am sure many of us newbie and not, will learn a lot from this.
1 question, whats the white lines on minute 17.00 that appear on the model?
The Z Seam
Nothng tò do to avoid that?
A Zeam? No, but, you can move to the best possible place. Lemme explain: th-cam.com/video/2F3VpX5vNnk/w-d-xo.html
Hi, your video could not be more timely! I am using the previous version of creality print and the total remodel caused some inconvinience. Can you help identify how to make multiple presets, which was an option in the older version. Also a feature I am missing after moving from Prusa to Creality slicer is the option to manually change filament at given layer. Present but not working in the old version. If you are going to have a new video, can you please touch on these?
Ender 3 v3 SE now included in supported printers along side v3 and v3 KE.
Bout time
This is an extraordinary tutorial. The only thing missing is how to save the g-code and port it over to the printer? I use usb.
I cover this ALLOT. Upload to Creality Cloud, print from there. Which machine you on?
Do you by chance know where the speed setting is for supports in Creality print 5.0
Yes, it's taught here in this tutorial
Thank you but how do use you the measure distance tool
Will do my best to cover more tools asap
Outstanding.i know this is still in beta. Curious though is the quality of print better than version 4.3.8?
I can't say, as I haven't print enough with it, but, I will say, despite claims, from peeps, about all sorts of slicers, over the years, I believe, it comes down to the user, and not the slicer. BUT, I do believe, V5 offers far better tools than V4, and, a skilled user, should be able to get better results, compared to 4, for that reason alone
Thanks. Agreed.
At this point the 5.0 beta is only available for Windows. Linux and MacOS beta versions are not available.
Yes, we know...
Something went wrong with wideo quaility, I can choose only 360p. Cool guide I recently had problems with supports and it helped a lot.😄
The video is huge, and was still rending. Took many hours. Try again.
Same here -15 minutes in and excellent video but constantly pixelated - forcing resolution choice on the TH-cam controls not helping - says 1080p + is available but not working - wait a few hours?
4K is working fine.... Something wrong on your end. Try again?
@@3DRundown completed it on another device. I'm convinced it's YT playing silly games with resolution settings
@@3DRundown as I can see today it's working perfectly fine
i have a problem with ver. 5.0.... the whole screen is offset so that i have to hover my mouse higher than what i want to click on...if i put my arrow on the thing i want to click on it will not work, i must go up a little bit till i see the item get highlighted then click on it. i thought it was a bad d/l... i tried it again still has the same problem. Cura works fine, an older ver of creality print works fine. i just cant get this ver to work properly. it all works in the program i just have to find the right spot to select an item.
So weird. I've seen a few others report this issue. I wonder if it comes down to a certain graphics card, resolution, or video driver
I tried this version today and for the life of me can get my KE to print. It keeps on giving me a key:2111 unknown error. I went back to the previous version and all is working!
Which version? I believe we are on 5.0.3 now. I've seen threads on this error. Some say, unplug the printer for a few min, resolved it. I don't have much more to offer on it atm. But... mine is working fine with the KE. Send from Creality Cloud?
If possible to use (.8 nozzle ) this software sir
You can edit the nozzle size, in the "Extruder 1" settings, but this won't adjust the profile. You'll need to update the profile settings as well. Hopefully Creality will address this soon
wonder when they will give us a resin slicer
Halot Box, broski! www.crealitycloud.com/software-firmware/software/halot-box
Hey, thanks for the video. Just another question. When exporting my file to the sd-card i can save it to stl file only. When i use the export-menu -> model file i only get to save it as an stl file. The "save-as" drop-down menu only give shows stl-file or mesh-stl file. Anyone any idea?
When slicing, you will export the gcode using the button on the bottom right.
@@3DRundown it actually is! Thanks a lot! Bit confusing though.
Cura and Bambu Studio, work in a similar fashion. Save the GCODE, upload to Creality Cloud, and off you go. :)
I spot one problem with this new version, my K1 started to clog consistent. Not shure why. Maybe their preset?
Interesting.... Have a look at the retractions and nozzle temp
Hi, if the line width is less than 0.3 or 0.4 it's clogging, also make sure to remove top lid for pla.
Why does you Creality print look different from mine? I do have 5.0 but it looks like the old interface
Are you SURE you are in 5? 5 has an entirely new interface. It's totally rebuilt
@@3DRundown sorry I wasn’t thanks
Someone help I can't find the button for support painting
Never mind I figured it out there's a tab that opens and closes if anyone else has the same issue
I show it in this video
Anyone know how to add a raft?
It's in this video 😂😂
I found it lmao thank you. I am having trouble with supports though it’s not adding them for me even when selecting the same settings you did. I guess I’ll keep playing around with it but v4 had auto supports and this one isn’t doing the thing for me lol😂 I’m very new to this so I’m trying
Try going into support painting, and checking ENABLE SUPPORTS, before slicing.
Also, DO learn ORCA Slicer....
bro you do not how helpful this was i got a k1 and i used pruse slicer but you know it dont have a k1 and iv been trying to use this slicer for to week and got no where that you
no fedora, 1/10
OMG I know. I debated shooting an intro or outtro, just so I could wear my hat, and be on the Thumbnail... But, I DID stick my mascot on there, an he is wearing it!
@@3DRundown just had to poke a little fun. On a serious note thanks for making these videos. I don't watch all of them but the ones I do are always helpful.
I figure the cartoon Fedora has to be at least worth 2/10?? Your very welcome. Thank you for being here. Any time you can let a video run, even if not necessarily covering a need for you, is helpful. :)
Doesn't watch them all 1/10
